PART-A Initial Rehabilitatoin (IR)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.

Construction of Shoulders as per Technical Specification Clause 407. Hard Shoulders Providing and laying Khak Bajri on shoulders with material obtained from approved source with all lifts and leads , transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 as per technical specifications clause 303.1.including loading, unloading, haulages,octroi .(finished work to be measured complete) By Mechanical Means

Road Marking: Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semiautomatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Part B Renewal Coat (RC)

Scarifying Existing Bituminous Surface to a Depth of 150 mm by Mechanical Means Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4

Prime Coat: Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 3.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.

Tack Coat: Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing and laying & rolling open graded pre mix carpet on 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 506 mm aggregates either using pentration grade bitumin or emulsion to required line , grade & level to sevea as wearing course on previously prepared base including mixing in sutiable plan, layin & rolling a three wheek 8 to 100 kn static roller capicity, finshied to required level & grades to be folllowed by seal coat of either type A or type B or Type C as per TS clause 508. ( bitumin S-90)
