SPL REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT OF SLUICE VALVES, GATE VALVES, VALVES PIT CHAMBER, CONTROL PANELS OF MOTORS, PUMPS,WATER GAUGE AND OTHER MISC ITEMS AT MIL STN NABHA.

Excavation in trenches in soft soil not exceeding 1.50 metre wide & not exceeding 1.50 metre deep for foundation ,for laying of water supply pipe line in trenches and getting out including dressing/trimming sides and levelling, grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, excavated soil in trenches after pipes have been laid and tested, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Taking out cast iron pipes of 80 mm dia and Supplying, laying,jointing,field testing & commisioning complete at site as per specification of centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe (S& S) "class K-7" ,80 mm dia, ISI marked for water conforming to IS 8329/2000 with push on type rubber gasket jointing as per IS 5382 specification. pipe shall be outside zinc coated with finishing layer of bitumen & have factory cement mortar lining as per IS 8329/2000. the rates include cost of material,labour required, transportation, loading/unloading etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note:-excavation of trench,earth work, DI fittings,lead joints will be measured & paid separately under respective items however rate of rubber tyton joints shall be deemed included in this item.

Material & labour Ductile Iron fittings upto 100 mm bore class 'A' such as bends (any type, radiius& angle) tapers of any type , duck foot bend, tee pieces, single branch, y junction & collar etc one end flanged & other socket or both end socket as per requirements complete with lead wool joint all as specified and directed. Note:-excavation of trench,earth work ,lead joints will be measured & paid separately under respective items

Material and labour for Lead joint for water supply spigot & socket DI pipe complete all as specifed and directed by Engr in charge upto 150 mm bore dia pipe complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Old lead retrieved may be used by contractor. Extra lead shall be arranged by contractor.

Taking up or down steel water tubing, 20 mm bore including fitting connections and cleaning tubing, fitting/ cutting threading of serviceable tubing for relaying and removal of unserviceable tubing all as directed by Engr-In- Charge .

Note : Old serviceable tubing as retreived under item No.8 shall be re-used under this item.

Fixing/laying only water tubing 25mm bore fixed to walls and ceiling or laying in floors including cleaning the old pipe for reuse, with new fittings & fixtures to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable tubing as retreived under item No.9 shall be re-used under this item.

Fixing/laying only old serviceable water tubing 40mm bore fixed to walls and ceiling or laying in floors including cleaning the old pipe for reuse, with new fittings & fixtures to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. Note : Old serviceable tubing as retreived under item No.10 shall be re-used under this item.

S&F in replacement, Gun metal globe or gate valve, 20 mm bore (Class-I) ISI marked, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement, Gun metal globe or gate valve, 25 mm bore (Class-I) ISI marked, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe complete fixed as in repair all as specified.

S&F in replacement, Gun metal globe or gate valve, 40 mm bore (Class-I) ISI marked, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe complete all as specified.

Repair to sluice valve size 80 mm bore, installed at existing line by opening up, necessary repair comprising replacement of glands, gland packing, gaskets, facing the gate & valve seat, replacement of nut bolts, reassembling and fixing in position & testing complete all as directed. Note: - (i) The rates of material like gland, gland packing, gasket and machinery work deemed to be included in the rate quoted however the Mild steel Spindle with TT nut will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Necessary arrangements for regulating the water supply in line for the purpose of repair shall be made by contractor at his own expenses.

S&F in replacement, Cast iron sluice valve, 150mm dia conformig to IS - 14846, PN 1.6, clockwise dosing with flanged ends and iron wheel including necessary joints by means of bolts, nuts washers and rubber gaskets complete including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve all as specified and directed.

Construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 90 x 90 x 90 cm (Internal dimension) incl necessary earth work, PCC foundation 1:3:6 and MS sheet 3 mm thick cover with angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 6mm including provision of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as shown in drg held with Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified directed

Supply, istallation, testing and comissioning of new chemical dozing system of capacity 27 Ltr/Hr, 1400 RPM, 1 Mtr head complete with all standard accessories such as connecting pipe , NRV etc including one 100 Ltr chemical storing container of PVC complete all as specified.

Supply of pressure guage of capacity 0 to 10 Kg CM2, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and disinfection of entire internal surfaces of chamber of RCC overhead reservoir either single or double compartment of capacity One Lakh gallon at 70 to 80 ft staging at Nabha Military Station including all required T & P and manpower comprising of the following processes. (a) Draining out water and evacuation of internal surfaces including floor and ceiling with mechanical pressure machine by applying solution of H2 02 (Hydrogen per Oxide) in the ratio of 1: 100 (1 LT of H202 and 100 Ltr of water). (b) Disludging the dirt layers with high speed water jet including scrapping the surface with wire brush and draining out the sludge water. (c) Cleaning the internal surfaces complete with Mechanical Scrubber and washing the surfaces with high-pressure water jet. (d) Filling the chambers with clear water and washing out prior to reuse after complete process. e) Painting the existing surface of reservoir column as directed by EIC and writing/stenciling date of cleaning and due date complete in English.

M& L for painting steel or iron surface of any description wih two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.
