Labour only for cutting of grass, scrubs, herbs etc on shoulder of runway / PTT links by surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil by using fawda incl removed of grass outside the MOD land complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Grass cutting work shall be done by manual labour with the help of fawda and purpose made tarwars. The employed labour with equipment will report to Sub Div every morning to ensure grass cutting work as per requirement of AF authority. (ii) Grass cutting work shall be carried out in areas used for flying. In case of an emergency the contractor and his labour shall be required to vacate the air field on very short notice. The tender shall allow for these contingencies in the quoted rates and no claim for any loss of men hours for any cause what so ever shall be entertained.

Labour only for cutting of grass, scrubs, herbs etc on shoulder of runway / PTT links using covered jungle gim to prevent spreading of grass in such a way that height of grass is maintained at a level n.exc 7.5cm from GL incl stacking the grass at a distance n.exc 50Mtr complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Grass cutting work shall be done by mechanical means using jungle gim with cover to prevent spreading of grass on aircraft manoeuvring areas. The employed driver with one labour with machine/ equipment will report to Sub Div every morning to ensure grass cutting work as per requirement of AF authority. (ii) Grass cutting work shall be carried out in areas used for flying. In case of an emergency the contractor and his labour shall be required to vacate the air field on very short notice. The tender shall allow for these contingencies in the quoted rates and no claim for any loss of men hours for any cause what so ever shall be entertained.

Ditto as per item No.2 of above but using bush cutters and with one skilled bush cutter machine operator complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description and applying one coat of cement base paint of any tint complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing n.exc 30cm deep by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator/ JCB) including fetting out and disposal of excavated earth outside the MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs retro reflective Tape for text matter/border made of high intensity reflective grade sheeting over exisiting sheet including Ist quality adhiesive etc.as in boulder, letter letters, arrow, sign including removing and depositing in low level area complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old broken runway sign board carefully from frame/legs including taking out screws etc leaving the existing frame in position for refixing after repair and removing the same away from aircraft maneuvering area not exceeding 3.50 Sqm each including exc in post holes and change of location complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 4mm thick plain,unbreakable aluminium galvanised ACP sheet for runway sign board having high optical clarity, 100% UV protected face plate, having high impact strength UV resistance must meet 1000 hrs UV weathering test as per ASTM G53. The sheet to withstand high velocity winds, resist temperature varying from extreme cold environment to sweltering hot conditions having temperature resistant upto 50 degree celcius to be fixed using cadmium plated screws on fibre frame jointed with aluminium cleat with high grade adhesive/staples on corners including superior quality radium coloured film over front side/single side high grade not affected from water & heat as a text matter( text matter shall be electronically cut) smoothly pasted on acrylic sheet with high grade adhesive including fixing sign boards in the existing pipe all as specified and directed.

S&F frame work for sign boards using PVC fibre reinforced pipe of size 40x40x3mm constructing using aluminium angle cleat of size 40x40x5mm to reinforce the frame complete all as specified and directed.

S&F aluminium angle 25x25x1.5mm for bedding the frame at outer side complete including necessary screws complele all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using ( 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in posts (including caps and bases) all as directed and specified.
