M&L for preparing existing Black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) at the rate of 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for Repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in bituminous macadam thickness consolidated/ compacted thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of Rs 30 per kg.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, and exceeding 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep.

M&L for providing cement concrete1:3:6, type C-1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in stone kerbs exc 10cm width and setting in mortor 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new surfaces of brick or concrete including priming surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on road side kerb stone edging etc all as specified and directed

All as per Item No 07 but one coat on old surface

M & L for Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying 2 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, 20% glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminious mecadam using paving bitumen @ 4% by weight of total mix, spread rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber for up to 75mm consolidated thickness all as specified and directed.

S&F Cat-eye Dia Cast Aluminium alloy Biconvex glass elements embedded in plastic each side compressive strength to ton, white or yellow plastic with white, yellow or red glass element by means of two component epoxy and nail complete all as specified.
