Annual Maintenance of sewerage treatment plant (STP) (0.3 MLD capacity) Constructed for Tsunami Victims of Puducherry at Kalapet, Puducherry. The Annual Maintenance contract should comprise the following works and as per the recommended schedule appended along with (including all taxes):- (i) The STP should be maintained for 24 hours in Three shifts with one operator and one helper per Shift. (ii) The lighting arrangements at the STP area Should be maintained with necessary electrical fitting and all electrical faults should be attended whenever necessary. (iii) The Electrical Panel Board, generator, starter Should be checked periodically like checking fuse wire, operation of starters, Indicator bulbs, cleaning internal panel parts, bus bars, automatic circuit breaker, greasing etc.

(iv) The values (sluice & NRV) should be periodically Cleaned, greased. The system should be maintained By attending leaks in pipes, fitting and valves wherever occurs. (v) All the leaks in pumpsets through gland packing, rope tightening, flange leaks should be attended and the standby pumpsets should be periodically maintained by performing trial run. (vi) Periodically cleaning should be done in grit removal chamber, bar screen etc. the silt and sedimentation should be removed from the tanks periodically. (vii) Both pressure and sand filter and activated carbon filter should be maintained periodically and the filter media in both the filter should be changed wherever required and the backwash of filter should be done regularly. (viii) The dry sludge should be removed from the sludge drying bed and safely disposed within a 2 km radius.

(ix) Providing sodium hypo solution for the dosing system. (x) Diesel should be provided for 25 KVA genset operation for uninterrupted operation of STP in the even of power failure.
