Repairing of Main Canal Bed and Side walls From Ch. 1990.00m to Ch.2270.00m

Labour cost for dismantling of old CC canal lining and carriage of the materials and depositing the same in a safe distance as directed. (i) Carriage up to lead of 60 M and lift upto 9 M (For Major & Medium works)

River sand filling in plinth, canal bed, canal slopes, bases of structure, etc in layers not more than 150 mm thick including necessary carriage, watering etc, complete as directed as specified.

Labour for preparation of subgrade of lined canal section as per design drawing and grade by ramming and rolled to level and according to the required cross section of the typical lined canal including cutting, filling the existing canal section where necessary compacting the earth in layers in not more than 15 cm thick to form a firm compacted bed & side for lining including watering to obtain required moisture content where necessary etc, complete as directed. (ii) For sandy soil

Soling in foundation at all levels including filling intersides, ramming etc complete as directed and of specified thickness with 9 cm brick on flat including sand packing.

CC work in proportion 1:2:4 in foundation / abutment / piers / wing walls etc.with hard broken stone aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm including curing with necessary timber shuttering, scaffolding where necessary complete as directed.(Shuttering, scaffolding cost will be paid separately) WITH HARD BROKEN STONE AGGREGATE 6 MM TO 20 MM

Centering and shuttering including propping etc where necessary and removal of forms after completion of CC and RCC works, complete as directed. (Measurement to be taken on the face area timbered). (B)(i) Shuttering (Beam) without Prop.

Earthwork in filling in all soils in plinth, canal embankment and bed filling as per CuM Rs. 478.09 design section and grade by truck carriage for a minimum distance of 4 KM including paying compensation of earth obtained from private land if any loading, unloading, spreading the same including light jungle, removing trees upto 15 cm dia and uprooting roots and stumps etc. from the seat of the embankment, breaking clods not more than 10 mm cube, ramming, profiling etc. with all lift, complete as directed. (Payment will be made after deduction of 12.50 % shrinkage allowance from the gross quantity).

Construction of Cattle Cart Crossing (at different Main canal and Branch canal chainage) 1 No

Earth work in excavation of foundation of canal structure in all types of soil as per design and drawing i/c dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus soil by head load to a safe distance from the working place and depositing required spoils in uniform layers dressing, watering, breaking clods more than 10mm cube i/c paying land compensation etc. complete as directed at site (i/c bailing out stagnant rain water where necy.) (A) In all types of soils (except soil mixed with gravel and boulders) (ii) For lead upto 60 M and lift of 3 M

CC work in proportion 1:2:4 in foundation / abutment / piers / wing walls etc.with hard broken stone aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm including curing with necessary timber shuttering, scaffolding where necessary complete as directed.(Shuttering, scaffolding cost will be paid separately)

RCC work in slab, abutment cap and above abutment, pier cap, pedestals, dirt wall etc. in proportion 1:1½:3 with hard broken stone aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm with proper reinforcement as per design including necessary curing, dewatering etc. complete as directed with necessary timber shuttering, scaffolding etc. where necessary, complete as directed. (Shuttering, scaffolding cost will be paid separately).

Centering and shuttering including propping etc where necessary and removal of forms after completion of CC and RCC works, complete as directed. (Measurement to be taken on the face area timbered). (A) Shuttering (Slab)

Supplying fitting fixing and laying reinforcement (TATA) in position in RCC work including cutting, bending, cranking with two piles 0.91 M (20 BWG) annealed wire hooking tying, complete as directed.

12 mm cement plastering including clearing surface and curing, complete as directed.(i) In proportion 1:3

Earthwork in back filling of structures, obtained from outside borrow pits filling in 15 cm layers, ramming, dressing, watering, including paying compensation of land if any (with lead up to 30 M and lift 1.5 M).

Collection of sand gravel (40% sand and 60% gravel of size 25 mm to 60 mm) free from dust and dirt including stacking in measurable stacks at quarry site and making payment of forest royalty etc. as directed complete.

Labour charges for spreading hard river shingles / sand gravels to required thickness over approach subway etc. including ramming, dressing the seat before laying the materials lead upto 30 M and lift 1.50 M, complete as directed.

Construction of Canal Outlet Structures at Main Canal and Branch Canal:20 Nos

Earthwork in excavation trenches of walls, retaining walls, footing of columns, steps and septic tank including refilling (return filling) the quantity as necessary after completion of works, breaking clods in return filling, dressing, ramming, watering etc. and removal of surplus earth with all lead and lift upto 2 metre as directed and specified in following classification of soils, including bailing out of water where necessary upto depth below the existing ground level as mentioned in the approved drawing and complete as directed and specified.

CC in RCC work as specified and directed and including curing etc. (reinforcemcnt and shuttering will be measured and paid separately), the fine aggregate shall be approved clear river sand of coarse variety and shall be 5 mm downward and not to be pass through a 25 IS sieve (width of apparatus is 0.25 mm) the coarse aggregate shall be cubical, hard perfectly clean and free from clay and adherents impurities and chemically inter broken stone chips of approved quantity and shall pass through 19 mm mesh without squeezing and be retained on 15 mm mesh. The fine and coarse aggregate shall be well graded and evenly distributed between the limits and mixes shall be made with adequate quantity of clean water required to have the strength as specified in IS Code.The rate is inclusive of cost of cube test before starting the work ie. 3 nos. per each lot of cement as directed and specified. In the ties and plinth beam in foundation shaped testing of column pile cap base slab retaining walls of septic tank inspection pit intercepting trap yard gully including formation of trap slap of septic tank etc. upto plinth level in prop 1:2:4.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick artificial stone damp proof course as specified in proportion 1:2:4 with broken stone chips with "CICO' or other similar approved damp proofing compound.

Brick work in cement mortar with 1st class brick as directed above plinth level upto 1st floor level including racking out joints, curing and necessary scaffolding. (i) In proportion 1:4

12 mm cement plastering including clearing surface and curing, complete as directed. (ii) In cement mortar 1:4

Soling in foundation and under floor including filling interstices, ramming etc, complete as directed and as specified thickness. (i) 9 cm brick on flat including sand packing. (a) Brick on flat soling.

PIain cement concrete floor base of thickness 100 mm in proportion 1:3:6 with coarse aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm including curing etc, complete as specified.

Providing undressed wood work in roof frame, truss, purlin etc. including supplying and fixing necessary spike nails, screw, straps, bolts and nuts of 16 mm dia etc, complete with kiricide oiling 2 coats as directed (sal wood).

Providing galvanized CI sheet roofing including supplying fitting and fixing necessary galved, screws /iron "J" hooks bolts and nuts with washers etc, complete as directed excluding cost of roof truss (measurement on net roof area) 0.63 mm thickness (24BWG).

Providing 0.63 mm thick galvanized iron ridging including suplying and fixing with necessary galvanized screw washer etc. (23 cm lapping).

Labour for fitting and fixing Galvd corrugated iron roofing including supplying and fixing with new galvd screw, J hook, bolts nuts, washer etc. complete as directed.

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length (hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately).

Providing fitting and fixing 1st class local wood for panelled / glazed doors and windows including supplying fitting and fixing iron fittings as detailed in APWD general specification except bim lock as directed.

Plastic painting to the wall, ceiling, of the building including clearing the surface etc. ith approved plastic paints, complete as directed (Inner & outer Surface)

Providing and fixing plain multipurpose cement board (Hight pressure steam cured) with suitable screws for cement particle board in ceiling etc. complete (frame work to be paid seperatately). 6 mm thick Cement bonded wood particle board as per IS:14276

Supply, Fitting and Fixing Pre Cast CC Vantilator with Size:-900mm x 300mm completed as directed

Supplying fitting fixing barbed wire fencing of height 1.20 M with 9 nos. of standard barbed wires of 12 BWGx 2 poles x 4 bricks at 15 cm interval including fixing with standard eye bolts and staples with angle iron post of size 50 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm duly sloted and embedded in CC base of size 25 cm x 25 cm x 75 cm below ground in proportion 1:2:4 to be placed 2 M apart with corner strut 2 nos. of same dimension will be placed every 10 M interval, including painting 2 coats to all iron works with anti-corrorrosive red paint etc, complete as directed.
