PAVEMENT WORK Clearing and grubbing road land Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201

Scarifying Existing Bituminous Surface to a Depth of 150 mm by Mechanical Means Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Roadway Cutting Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the subgrade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Granular Sub-base with Well Graded Material (Table 400.1) GSB grade III Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. Material : 9.5 mm to 4.75 mm @ 35 per cent = 0.447 cum, 4.75 mm to 2.36 mm @ 12.5 per cent = 0.160 cum, 2.36 mm below @ 52.5 per cent = 0.672 cum, Water = 0.100 kilolitre.

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill). carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406. Material : Coarse aggregate 45 mm to 22.4 mm @ 30 per cent = 0.399 cum, Aggregates 22.4 mm to 2.36 mm @ 40 per cent = 0.532 cum, Fine aggregate/Crushed sand 2.36 mm to 75 micron @30 per cent = 0.399 cum, water = 0.08 kl.

Prime Coat Low porosity Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS - 1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502. Material: Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) @ 0.85 kg per sqm.

Tack Coat (i) Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS- 1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.Material : Bitumen emulsion (RS - 1) @ 0.225 kg per sqm.

Bituminous Concrete Providing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (VG 30) @ 5.2 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects Material : Bitumen@ 5.2 percent of mix = 0.123 ton, 20-10 mm 38 percent = 0.567 cum, 10-5 mm 17 percent = 0.254 cum, 5 mm and below 43 percent = 0.641 cum, Filler @ 2 percent of weight of aggregates = 0.045 cum.

ROAD SAFETY WORK Retro-reflectorised Traffic Signs (1) Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary. mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801

i) 600 mm equilateral triangle

ii) 600 mm circular

Painting lines, Dashes, Arrows, etc. on Road in Two Coats on New Work Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi-automatic thermoplastic paint appplicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Er-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

ROAD FURNITURE PMGSY informatory sign board Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm * 450mm * 600mm 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Direction and place identification signs up to 0.9 sqm size board Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2mm thick M.S. sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70mm width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape per MORD as specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on 47mm x47mm of 12 SWG Square tube of 3050 mm height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm M / s flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701

Construction of Ordinary Kilometre Stone (Precast) : Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade ordinary kilometre stone with local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixingin position including painting and printing etc. as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 of specification of rural roads.

Construction of 200 Metre Stone (Precast) Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade 200 metre stone with local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixing in position including painting and printing etc. as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 of specification of rural roads.

DRAINAGE WORK Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material.

Providing plain/reinforced cement concrete in open foundation with or without reinforcements in any part of foundation with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates(sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement as necessary, mixing in concrete mixer of suitable capacity and cost of curing with water, including preparation of design mix approved of the same by the Engineer in charge , cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of form work but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision).
