Attending complaints of external water supply installation as when required/ call up by this office for non functional of borewell submersible pump installation, other water supply installation for no electric supply/ no water supply due to any defects in LT panels in electric control items, i.e CI Sluice valves, non return valves, gate valves, ball valves, foot valves etc of any size laid in trenches of 80/100/150/200/250 mm dia & above including leakage of CI/ GI pipe line and fittings making lead joints/ flange joints rubber joints, excavation and refilling of trenches to make the water supply installation functional round the clock complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) minor repair shall be carried out on spot and other major item shall be measured & paid separately. (ii) Major items replaced as "S&F" under respective item of this schedule shall not be payable under this item. (iii) Adequate tradesman/ supporting manpower shall be deployed by contractor and they shall be present on all working days including Sunday and Holidays from 0930 Hrs to 1800 Hrs for maintenance of above mentioned work. The supervisor/ site Engineer of the contractor shall be forwarded detailed instruction by concerned JE every morning for attending complaints on daily basis. The persons shall be detailed by AGE/ JE concerned every morning for attending complaints on daily basis, with taking signature of JE Complaints slip. (iv) The complaints received before 1300 Hrs shall be attended on same day. The complaints received after 1400Hrs shall be attended on the next working day before 1300Hrs. If complaints shall not attended as per schedule, a penalty of Rs 500/- shall be imposed on Contractor for each complaint per day. (v) Any delay in non-completion of complaints shall immediately be communicated to AGE/JE.

(i) The mixture of bleaching powder & water for cleaning shall be prepared by mixing 250 gm of bleaching powder in 10 liters of fresh water. (ii) All inlets/ outlets/ over flow/ wash out connections shall be cleaned. Any leakage in joints shall be made good as directed and quoted rate also includes this aspect. (iii) The existing water, water used for cleaning etc shall be bailed out at the nearest open drain available. (iv) Any damage occurred to the assets during cleaning etc shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. (v) All protective & safety measure for workman against honey bee, insects, creatures, gases, height etc shall be responsibility of the contractor. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include for this provision.
