Protection CTs shall be ring core type, complete all as specified and directed. The outer enclosure shall have IP 55 protection, it should be Top Opening Canopy type, Indoor RMU placed inside Outdoor Enclosure should not be acceptable. Both the Load break switch and Breaker should have line side earth switch.

(A) NOTE:- Other details:- System Particulars:-
(i) Nominal System Voltage : 11kV. (ii) Voltage variation on supply side : ±10 %. (iii) Corresponding Highest System Voltage: 12kV. (iv)Frequency : 50 Hz with ± 3 % tolerance. (v) Transient condition : -20 % or + 10 % combined variation of Voltage and frequency. (vi) Number of Phase : 3 Phases. (vii) Neutral earthling :Solidly earthed.
(viii) Fault level (minimum) kA /Sec : 21/3). (ix) Lightning Impulse Withstand Voltage (kVp) : 75 (x) One minute dry/wet power frequency withstand voltage primary (kV rms) : 28KV (xi) Rated Dynamic Withstand Current (kAp) : 52.5KA. (xii) Number of Short Circuit Operations at rated short circuit current of 21 kA for Breaker - 50 Nos.
(xiii) Earth switch should have 5 closing operation at short circuit current (making operations E2 class) independent of breaker. Earth switch manual closing shall be driven by a fast acting / snap action mechanism,independent of operator and VCB action. (B) Applicable Standards for this RMU scope of work - IEC 62271-200.
(i) The Ring Main Units shall conform to the latest applicable, IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-200. (ii) All live parts, bus bars, shall preferably be enclosed in non- magnetic and non-ferrite grade stainless steel tank Grade SS441 of minimum 2 mm thickness. The RMU shall be type tested for internal arc test of 21KA/1 sec AFLR with Bottom Exhaust for Safety of Personnel for both Tank as well as Cable Compartment as per IEC62271-200. The outer enclosure shall have IP 55 protection for complete switchgears, however it should be Top Opening Canopy & Indoor RMU placed inside Outdoor Enclosure should not be acceptable. The protection relay shall be for 3 O/C + 1E/F (IDMT Type) Self powered numerical protection relay with low and high set of over current and earth fault , MODBUS communication along with RS 485 Port / USB Port. (iii) Internal Arc Classification should be with Bottom exhaust only. RMUs should be manufactured, inspected, and invoiced from the OEM factory. (iv) Temperature & climatic sensor in each panel, Wireless & Self powered Temperature sensor should be mounted in Busbar & Breaker chamber and the same data should display on the panel. | - | - | - | - |

(C) Air Insulated Bus Connected Unit comprising the following :-
(1) Air Insulated enclosure with necessary bus connection via bushing. VT’s from the manufacturer and according to IS 3156 shall be accepted.
(2) 11KV/rt3/110V/rt3; 50VA class 0.5. Single phase bus PT for metering.
(3) 11KV/230V AC, 1KVA control transformer – Optional is Aux supply at site is not available.
(4) MFM – EM 6400 NG Class 0.5 for each Incomer.
(5) Metering CT in respective Function’s Cable Compartment in RMU XX/1A, Class 0.5, 2.5 VA.
(D). Accessories :-
(1) Antireflex operating handle.
(2) Battery 24V DC , of suitable rating.
(3) Battery charger (I/P-230V AC, O/P - 24V DC).
(4) Manometer with remote contact.
