REPAIRS/REPLACEMENT OF LT PANEL BOARDS / DISTRIBUTION FEEDER PILLAR BOXES AND CONTROL PANELS AT A, B AND D AREA UNDER GE CHENNAI

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m in width and 1.5 m in depth and getting out excavated soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material / soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay fine sieved excavated dry soil cushioning spreading levelling for cable trenches complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.)

Supply and laying well burnt bricks sub class 'B' in trenches for cable protection of U/G cable complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing PVC/XLPE, 1100 volts grade, LT UG electric cable of size 95 sqmm x 3.5 core from trenches/ walls (or) passing through pipes/in floor, removing the unserviceable fault cable and carefully stacking the serviceable cable for reusing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item.

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -06 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleeves etc, size 95 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -07 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleeves etc, size 150 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -08 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleeves etc, size 185 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed .

Laying only the under ground cable any type obtained from Items No -09 above in trench/wall/floor etc are connecting with suitable cable lugs/sleeves etc, size 240 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed .

Including taking down the old panel required at site and comprising following:- Note :- (i) The rate deemed to be inclusive of disconnecting the LT cable and reconnecting the same with suitable size of cable glands and connecting complete. M&L for Repair to LT Panel board, dismantling the door and attending repair works to Hinges by providing suitable welding work, including repairs to Locking arrangement, complete including replacement of worn-out rubber beadings and covering the cable incoming and outgoing entry points with suitable MS sheets etc, and scraping, removal of rust and complete removal of existing painting, cleaning and applying spray painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after attending welding work over a corroded portion and coat of red oxide primer and black for base frame complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earth strip of size 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No-5 of SSR Part I connected to machinery/equipments installed power house/sub station all as specified including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The unit rate shall also include for excavation earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia CTD bars @ 150mm C/C both ways funnel with 15mm bore GI watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI protection pipe wire mesh and copper lugs complete in addition to item No 1(a) to (e) of preamble ( Notes) Under sub heading earthing specified on SI page NO-389 of SSR Part-II 2004.
