Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1603.1 . Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts and drains etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out rocks( where blasting is prohibited ) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately)depending upon the classification of soil complete as per HPPWD specification including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including other incidential . The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including makng good the undulation etcetra with earth or quarry soil etcetra and rerolling the sub-grade complete as per HPPWD specifications including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including other incidential . The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing laying spreading and compacting granular sub base grading-1 by providing well graded material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC carriage of mixed material to work site up to any lead spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on proposed surface, and compacting with smooth three wheel 80-100 kN static roller 10 cum (ten cubic metre) per hour to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specifications Clause 401 and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials/machinery required to execute the work in all leads and lifts and other incidentials. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand: eight graded crushed stone aggregate 25mm (twenty five millimetres) nominal size in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 804, 1202 and 1203 as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge , including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax , goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and Laying of Interlocking Concrete Block Pavements having thickness 80 mm (eighty millimetres) as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 1504. including carriage of materials in all leads, lifts and other other incidental and as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidental . The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.
