Embankment Construction with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits (Construction of embankment with approved material having CBR>7 obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-1, 300-2 and as per relevant clauses of section - 300 )

Preparation and consolidation of subgrade with road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidation with power roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth upto 50 metres.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material like natural sand crushed gravel or crushed stone having CBR >30, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by plant mix method at OMC, and compacting with vibratory rollers of 80 to 100 kN static weight to achieve the desired density, complete as per Clause 401 of Specification. (i) for grading- I Material

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density in accordance to Table No. 400-12, 400-13 and as per clause of section 406 of specifications

Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction and as per clause 504 of specifications.Using Batch Mix Plant of appropriate capacity and Paver finisher. (ii) for Grading II (19 mm nominal size) bitumen content 3.4%

Providing, laying and rolling of 20mm thick Mix Seal Srufacing Type -A composed of crusher broken hard granite stone chips of sizes 11.2mm to 0.09 mm @ 0.27 cum and specified grade bitumen (VG-30) @ 22 Kg per 10 sqm of road surface laid to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in hot mix plant, laying by paver finisher and rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity as per MoRT&H specifications clause 512 in all respects.

Prime coat Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 502 of specifications.

Tack coat Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.2kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications.

Supplying and stacking good quality moorum at work site with all lead and royalty, all complete.
