Note :- The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013.
M&L for 290 mm thick Pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45 Kg/ Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean , hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand of crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non -circular virgin synthetic fibre of 6-12 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1 .39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240 °C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer (minimum 0.25% by weight of cement). PQC laid, spread and compacted with fixed-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width , including curing and tinning by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause -10.1.14 and Table~ 9 of IRC: 15-2017. (i) The rate of initial curing with curing compound included in the quoted rate & the same shall be performed after brooming with in stipulated period as per MORTH specification. (Curing compound shall be carried out @ 5 to 6 sqm/ltr).(ii) The rate for Non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement shall be measured and paid separatly in reespective item as supply only rate.
Note (Contd....) (iii) All type of joints shall be measured and paid separately. Curing compound will be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry, and rate for use of curing compound shall be deemed to included in unit quoted rate. (iv) No deduction shall be made from concrete for space occupied by construction and dummy joints. Deduction however be made for space occupied by expansion joints. (v) Minimum cement content per cubic metre of concrete shall be 360 Kg per cum. However actual cement content shall be worked out as per design mix and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (vi) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of use and waste of form work for total thickness. (vii) The trial bay will be executed as per above specifications and shall be got approved from GE. The quoted rate shall be deemed inclusive for this provision and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (viii) Surface shall be finished by traverse brooming of maximum 1.5 mm deep as per ICAO or as per requirement of Air Force authority. Brooming shall be done through attachment in mechanical paver and rate is including in quoted rate.

Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS 5212 , BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) OF +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete as specified and as directed.

M & L Soil stabilization of 150 mm sub grade soil by uniform mixing of cement OPC 43 grade @ 3% cement by weight of soil (percentage of cement/additives for estimation purposes only). Type of additive and, percentage required for blending to be given in mix design). Item will include pulverization of soil, spreading of additive, blending mix by tractor towed rotovator, addition of water/drying of mix to required moisture content and compaction using suitable vibratory roller to required 98% maximum dry density achieve K value 3.5 Kg/cm2/cm. Provisions of IRC SP:89-2010 be referred to for this item complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Rate will include pulverizing of soil, spreading of cement/stabilizer as required by design mix, sprinkling of water and compacting to achieve finish of subgrade as per clause 902 of MORTH specifications/98% Max Dry Density. Relevant provisions of IRC:SP: 89-2010 will be applicable for process and quality control. (ii) The tenderer's quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of carriage of excavated materials to soil stabilising plant and carriage of stabilised soil from plant for laying in pavement locations.
Note (Contd....) (iii) The mix design for soil stabilization to achieve minimum field soaked 'k' value of not less than 3.5 Kg/cm2/cm and minimum lab soaked CBR value of 8 with UCS as 1 MPa shall be got done from an approved laboratory, using the proposed samples of excavated earth and cement to be incorporated in the work. A trial bay will be laid and compacted as specified in Schedule A Notes. No payment shall be made for construction of trial length and quoted rate is deemed to include for this provision. Field test shall be carried out over the trial bay (field density, 'k' value & CBR value). On satisfactory test results further works to be processed. In the event of the test fail to give the min. density & 'k' value, the mix shall be re-designed and fresh trial bay laid to get the satisfactory result. (iv) Dry density shall be taken on the same day after completing the final compaction. Method for Dry density shall be followed as per MORTH. (v) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of cement on lesser side, the difference in quantity of cement will be adjusted ( Minus) through supply only rates of cement here in after. However no price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement is used / approved in the execution of work under this item.
Supply only Cement ordinary portland 43 Grade, portland pozzolana or portland slag complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for laying of Geocell as per IRC:SP 59 for pavement stablisation as per following methodology :- (i) Laying of Geocell 150 mm cell height ( for 200mm GSB infill) and 356mm welding distance with all assesorries complete all as specified.

M&L for providing and Laying Dry lean Concrete (DLC) 140 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per Table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 MPa.
