COMPREHENSIVE MAINTANANCE OF CEILING FANS EXHAUST FANS AIR CIRCULATORS AND APFC PANELS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS UNDER AGE EM II IN GE CENTRAL KIRKEE

Comprehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs and attending day-to-day complaints of following equipments at various loaction at 512 ABW, A park , Arsenal Depot ,B Park and Old Park all as directed by Engr-in-charge: (a) Exhaust fan single phase 250/280/300/380/450/600 mm sweep. (b) Air circulator fan 450/600 mm sweep single phase (c) Ceiling fan 1200/1400 mm sweep, (d) APFC panels of various capacity. (e) Wall mounting fan of any capacity. (f) Monitoring of APFC panel power factor reading and maintaining the power factor above 0.98. NOTE :- (a) Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of the cost of all materials and labour required for dismantling and assembling of equipment in whole or as a part thereof, cost of minor spares and material required such as grease, push button, LED indicating lamp, thimbles, different size of lugs, nuts, bolts,washers,clamp,cable gland,supporting clamp, insulation tapes etc., (b) Major defects such as motor rewinding, replacment of faulty bearings, condensor does not includes in this cost. In case of major problems beyond the scope of contract the same has to intimate to the department within 48 hours. (c) Inspection, repairing, monitoring and preparing inspection sheet of APFC panels located at various locations under AGE E/M-II GE (Central) Kirkee on alternate days per week per month. Contd....2

Contd,,from 1 The necessary shutdown to carry out the inspection and repairing of the panels will be arranged by the contractor.The format of the inspection sheet is included in the PS of this CA. In any case the power factor of each APFC panel must not be less than 0.99 (lag). The average power factor for the month for entire workshop load should be above 98 (lag) The contractor has to pin point the faults if any and reactify the same within 24 Hrs to maintain the desired power factor.The materials or (and) any kind of job required for the maintenance and rectification of the panels will be measured and paid in the relevant items of this schedule. If the contractor fails to maintain the desired power factor, and there is no any incentive for good power factor or any penality from MSEB due to low PF the same shall be borne by the contractor in addition Rs.10,000/- for each penalty/ non incentives. (d) The workers employed by the contractor will report to the concerned AGE/JE E/M every day. (e) The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of dismantling/taking down however cost of Fixing of the items will be mesured and paid under relevant items of schedule. (f) The quoted rate deemed to be included the cleaning of ceiling/exahust/air circulator fan and APFC panels of any capacity. (g) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive all the safety equipment and other T & P required for carrying out the repairs / maintence. The contractor has to liase with the department in case of taking of electric shutdown of each machinery and has to make the machinery functional of the carrying out maintenance because maximum fans are installed at the height of more than 10 mtr. (h )Maximum fans are installed at the height of more than 10 mtr. Contracrors are adviced to inspect the site before quoting the rates.

Material and labour for removing of burnt winding of fans, cleaning of slots and rewinding of fans with super enamelled copper winding wire of suitable size, quality, quantity and providing with suitable insulation materials i.e varnish, sleeves, leathorised paper cotton tape etc to fan including replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, washers, split pin etc and testing complete all as specified and directed for the following type and size of fans :- NOTE :- Maximum fan are of old vintage.Contrators are adviced to inspect the fans before quoting the rates. (a) Ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep.

(b) Ceiling fan 1400 mm sweep.

(c) Exhaust fan single phase 250/280/300 mm sweep.

(d) Exhaust fan single phase 380/ 450 mm sweep.

(e) Exhaust fan single phase 600 mm sweep.
