Appointment of Contractor for Replacement of Gypsum False ceiling by Aluminium Metallic false ceiling in various classrooms in ALB Building at IIM Mumbai

Civil Works:

Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer- in-charge.

Providing and Fixing Aluminium Metal FALSE CEILING 600x600mm Lay in tiles of 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm thickness (light weight) with standard perforation of 2.5 mm dia & open area of 16%. The back of the tile should have black acoustical fleece with NRC of 0.70 & CAC 36 with life time warrantee against sag in module size 595 mm X 595 mm at required height above FFL.The Framework to be suspended from slab with 4 mm G.I. wire hanging at 1.2 m c/c below the slab fixed by drilling hole & anchor fastners. the frame shall consist of galvanized steel sections with sections comprised of main tee 34 mm x 24 mm (heavy duty as per ASTMC - 635 standard tested) with pre-punched cross tee slots (at every 100 mm c/c) to be placed at 1200 mm c/c, suspended. other end of the wire provided with GI J hook & nut. as per Manufacturers specification as directed by Engineer in Charge etc complete. the rate shall be inclusive of all tools & tackles & warranty of 10 years from the date of fixing

Providing 12 mm thick plaster of Paris (gypsum anhydrous) ceiling above floor level, In horizontal & Vertical position including fixing of Aluminium box frame & support.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour- Two Coats
