Water Bound Macadam: Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tones in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 030 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry granular surface treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as pe technical specification clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling or open graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm gregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including missing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity finished to required level and grades to be followed bty seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per cal specification clause 508.
