Forming 12mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’, thickness of slab 15 cms, complete all as specified and directed.
Forming contraction (Dummy) joint 65mm deep x 10mm wide as the work proceeds in alternative ways and filled with sealing compound grade 'A' after priming with primer for grade 'A' sealing compound , complete all as specified and directed.
Preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with VG-10 @ 10Kgs/X sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight by total mix to be laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with initial rolling using 8 to 12 tonne power roller followed by an intermediate smooth wheel pneumatic roller of 15 to 30 tonne having type pressure of 7 kg/sqm and the surface finished by final rolling with 8 to 10 tonne tandem roller, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for repair to patches of flexural portion of runway,depth n.exc 80 mm,including sweeping free from dust and mud or water withwire or jute brush scooring sunken surface in runway pavement, cutting arround edge to atlest full depth of carpet layer making proper rectangular or squre shape patch and making good by applying tack coat with bitumenous primer (catonic emulsion RS) and filling the pacth with ready made bitumeonus mix of using cutback bitumen rooled and compacted to required camber and gradient with hand roller complete and clean the surface by brooming and making FOD free surface to runway complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with VG-10 @ 5Kgs/X sqm, complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete / bituminous pavement by brushing and applying one coat painting with water based road marking paint (any Colour) in pattern of lines / arrows / letters etc. on road or pavements exc 10cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed . Make: APCOTRAK manufactured by Asian Paints or equivalent of make Jenson & Nicholson paints Pvt Ltd / Nerolac.
Deployment of T&P and labour for cutting and removing the grasses / vegetation growth / saplings etc. from the surrounding area of runway, taxi track and dispersals by using tractor equipped with jungle Jim and disposing off all the rubbish out of runway boundary complete all as specified and directed by . Note : Minimum 2 Jungle Jim with tractor to be deployed by the Contractor on daily basis as on daily basic per user requirement. if contracto unable to deploy 2 jungle jim with tractor per day 2500 /- recovery will be carried out by contractor.
Deployment of T&P and labour for grass cutting by manually or mechanically (Bush Cutter) on the both side of runway / PTT as per requirement basis and timing as feasible by the users, complete including taking out all necessary grass shurbs saplings wild bushes and any type of vegetation and removing out of runway boundary complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Minimum 4 Bush cutter to be deployed by the Contractor on daily basis as per user requirement. if contracto unable to deploy 4 bush cutter with operator per day 3500 /- recovery will be carried out by contractor.
