Material and labour earthing complete in positions with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level , with top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground connected to GI earth strip 32x6 mm by means of GI bolts and nuts,check nuts,washers and GI earth strip protected by GI pipe light grade 50 mm bore upto 7.5 mtr and connecting to LT Switchgear etc as per site requirement including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 40 mm thick RCC Cover with 6 mm dia MS bars 10 cm C/C on both ways as reinforcement complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part 1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Servicing of DG set Self Starter assembly of 12 Volt DC (Make - Delco Remi / Lucas TVS or as per site) by disconnecting from engine and dismantling the same, cleaning all accessories, renewal of worn out parts like brushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, re-varnishing the field coil, armature in the workshop and reassembling the same, refitting the engine, testing and commissioning complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Taking down old or defective or unserviceable ACBs of rating 1000 Amps 4 pole from existing panels by disconnecting IN and OUT cables carefully, Checking Servicing, repairing calibrating ACBs including replacement of automatic operation motor unserviceable parts for smooth functioning of ON / OFF during failures of BESCOM and DG supply, re-fixing in the same location all as per site requirements complete directed by Engineer-in-charge

Taking down old or defective or unserviceable ACBs of rating 800 Amps 4 pole from existing panels by disconnecting IN and OUT cables carefully, Checking Servicing, repairing calibrating ACBs including replacement of minor nature parts for smooth functioning of ON / OFF during failures of BESCOM and DG supply, re-fixing in the same location or other any location all as per site requirements complete directed by Engineer-in-charge

Note - (i) The Contractor shall submit AMF panel drawings along with CPRI validity panel manufactureres certificate for approval of Garrison Engineer before placing order on panel manufacturers duly signed by panel manufacturers and contractor, ii) The quoted rate shall be inclusive for all AMF switchgear and components to meet site requirement as per manufacturer's instructions for proper functioning of AMF panel, nothing extra will be paid in this regards. iii) The quoted rate shall include for connecting existing LT cable with new lugs including taking out old cable from trenches / duct as per site requirements all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Chemical earthing for building/machinery/equipments complete with using copper electrode of dia 76 mm dia & 03 meter long and internal copper strip size 50 x 6 mm, buried directly in ground vertically using hand boring for excavation of 100 dia hole at hard or dense soil upto a depth not less than 3.15 meters deep below ground level for inserting the electrode and connected to external copper strip by means of Copper nuts & bolts, , copper check nuts and washers of copper including earthwork, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 40 mm thick RCC cover 1:2:4 mix with 6mm dia nominal reinforcement @ 150 mm c/c both ways etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3, complete including testing on completion comprising of the following items of given specifications. Note - The quoted contractor is responsible for arranging a visit of chemical manufactureres technicians on the site before placing a order to firm for achieving IR value of earthing less than 1 Ohm complete all as directed by engineer-in-charge, The specifications of eletrode, structural specifications and Technical specifications are as under :- (A) Specification of Electrode (i) It should be maintenance free copper bounded, copper bounded strip must be placed centrally inside the electrode. (ii) The space inside the electrode should be tightly filled with crystaline conductive mixture containing natural elements and compounds.

(B) Structural Specification Electrode Diameter : 76 mm Electrode Length : 3000mm Thickness : 0.254 mm Internal copper strip size : 50 x 06mm Connection terminal Die : 14 x 02 mm Material of construction : Copper boned.(Cu purity not less than 99.9%) Copper Bonding : 120-150 micron Compound filled : Crystalline mixture. Quantity of minimum Backfill Earthing Compound : 40 Kg (C) Technical specifications (i) Conductive concrete must be environmentally neutral. (ii) It must set up in situ to form a solid and must not leach, dissolve or migrate into soil or water. (iii) May installed dry or mixed with water to form slurry for horizontal or vertical applications. (iv) Ther material must be maintenance free and not require recharging of any kind i.e. watering, chemical or salts. (v) The material must have a dry resistivity of less than 10 ohm cm and an ability to reduce corrosion by atleast 80%. (vi) The IR value must be less than 1 Ohm.
