Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Bringing approved Earth may be mixed with granules / pebbles not exceeding 40 mm size (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes if any etc. including earth spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick each layer, watering, compaction with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller and finished to required size and shape etc. any high from GL complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (a) Earth required for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside of MOD land at any lead, at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction royalties, tax etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) Forming embankments / filling in low lying areas including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming / rolling and finishing of required size, shape etc. not exceeding 1.5 m high from base / natural ground level. (d) With reference to Clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part-II on Serial Page No. 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment / traverse of filled earth after consolidation / compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (e) Total quantity / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Sukna Area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering available of soil and its lead involved.

Excavation in over areas not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation, manholes, laying of UG cables/pipes etc. not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and dept exceeding 50mm but not exc. 100mm in deep complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling & consolidating formation surfaces in cutting/filling including watering as required, filling in hollows and depressions which occur during the process of rolling by using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100mm thick (spread thickness) of soling with broken boulder or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidation to required gradient & camber by using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for WBM 15cm thick in two layers of 7.5cm thick each (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate with lime stones, sand stones, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 mm to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. & Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix Bituminous Macadam of 75mm thick or less (compacted thickness) using paving bitumen as binder content 4% by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant with crushed stone aggregate of grading II of IRC laid with self propelled mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The design mix for premix bitumen macadam shall be done through approved Govt lab and the same shall be got approval of GE before executing this item. The rate for testing and approval of design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if the, approved quality of binder as per design mix, is more than specified quantity. (c) Rs 46.49 per Kg price adjustment shall be applicable if the, approved quality of binder as per design mix, is less than specified quantity.

M&L for 40mm thick (compact thickness) laid with mechanical paver Bituminous premixed Semidense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with 5.5% paving bitumen as binder content by weight of total mix, prepared in hot mix plant with crushed stone aggregate of grading II of IRC laid with propelled mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The design mix for premix bitumen macadam shall be done through approved Govt lab and the same shall be got approval of GE before executing this item. M&L for 2.00 mm thick road marking paint, white or golden yellow, confirming to BS-3262, applying on road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra cross etc., on roads, pavements and the like etc. not exc 10cm wide with thermoplastic road marking paint with glass beads @ 250 - 300 gms/sqm over painted surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Painting to road surface shall be carried out through mechanical application by the approved applicator of manufacturers instruction.

S&F for solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm ( shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4v/0.3v watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufactures etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA striplens reflector with min weight 450gm and Including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflector made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly power coated and thermo plastic elastomer bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 and necessary excavation, formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply,install, testing and commissioning out door type Street light LT Control Panel of suitable size, CPRI type tested, factory fabricated totally enclosed, with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof, degree of protection not less than IP 55, conforming to IS : 60947 : 2004 double leaf shutter in front and single leaf shutter in rear side. The panel shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation and copper busbar wrapped with PVC tape/sleeves and maintained the colour code and copper strip busbar as per MCCB amps rated to MCCB input and MCCB/MCB output of suitable length for connection of cable from main busbar.
