PART – A (Work Portion)

ITEM No. 1 :- Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 millimetre, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of over 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 millimetre in thickness.

ITEM No. 2 :- Excavation for roadway in earth, soil of all sorts, sand, gravel or soft murum including dressing section to the required grade, camber and side slopes and conveying the excavated materials with all lifts and leads and spreading for embankment or stacking as directed. By Mechanical Means.

ITEM No. 3 :- Dismantling of existing B.T. Surface (flexible Pavement) to a depth of 50 millimetre manually including loading of dismantled material to transport vehicle at site excluding lead charges.

ITEM No. 4 :- Conveying materials obtained from road cutting including all lifts, laying in layers of 20 centimetre to 30 centimetre breaking clods, dressing to the required lines, curves, grades and section, watering and compacting to not less than 97% of standard Proctor density for a lead of over 1.00 Kilometres inclusive from the site of excavation to the site of deposition as directed.

ITEM No. 5 :- Supplying hard murum / kankar at the road side, including conveying with all leads and stacking etcetera complete as directed by Engineer in charge.

ITEM No. 6 :- Spreading hard murum/ soft murum/ gravel or kankar for side width complete.

ITEM No. 7 :- Compacting the hard murum side widths including laying in layers on each side with Vibratory roller including artificial watering etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 8 :- Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader/ Paver on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 - Plant Mix Method and Grading - II Material.

ITEM No. 9 :- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with Vibratory roller to the required density. By Mechanical Means- Grading I (Using Screening Type A (13.2) millimetre Aggregate) .

ITEM No. 10 :- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with vibratory roller to the required density. By Mechanical Means - Grading II (Using Screening Type B (11.2 millimetre) Aggregate .

ITEM No. 11 :- Providing and constructing 75 millimetre thick Modified Penetration Macadam (MPM) road surface including all materials, preparing the existing road surface, spreading 40 millimetre stone metal layers 30% crusher broken metal + 70% Hand broken (by breaking rubble obtained by blasting) heating and spraying the bitumen of VG-30 grade at the rate of 2 Kilogram per Square Metre, spreading 12 millimetre size chips compacting with three wheel static roller having weight 8 to 10 Metric Tonne to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506 etcetera complete including picking of existing Water Bound Macadam surface.

ITEM No. 12 :- Providing and constructing 50 millimetre thick Modified Penetration Macadam (MPM) road surface including all materials, preparing the existing road surface, spreading 40 millimetre stone layers metal 30% crusher broken metal + 70% Hand broken metal (By breaking Rubble obtained by blasting), heating and spraying the bitumen of VG-30 @ 1.75 kilogram per Square metre, spreading 12 millimetre size chips compacting with Static roller having weight 8 to 10 MT to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 506 etcetera complete, including applying tack coat of bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 0.30 Kilogram per Square metre (on existing bitumen surface.)

ITEM No. 13 :- Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface heating by fames in Boiler and spraying bitumen with sprayer on Dry / Hungry B.T. surface 3 Kilogram per 10 Square Metre, VG-30 bulk bitumen.

ITEM No. 14 :- BITUMINOUS MACADAM : Proving and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of Grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site with VTS, laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired compaction for 80 / 100 millimetre compacted thickness with 3.30 % using specified grade of Bitumen - USING Batch mix type hot mix plant with SCADA, Sensor Paver, Vibratory roller - Bitumen VG-30 grade.

ITEM No. 15 :- BITUMINOUS CONCRETE:- Providing and laying bituminous concrete using crushed aggregates of grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.20 per cent by weight of total mix and filler, transported to site with VTS , laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired compaction for 50 millimetre compacted thickness with specified grade of Bitumen, Excluding prime / tack coat. USING Batch mix type hot mix plant with SCADA, Sensor Paver, Vibratory roller with Stone Dust filler. Using Bitumen VG-30 grade.

ITEM No. 16 :- Excavation for catch / side water gutter in all sorts of soils to the specified section including stacking the excavated stuff in a regular bund and disposing of unsuitable or excess stuff as directed all sorts of soils, by Mechanical Means.

ITEM No. 17 :- Excavation for catch / side water gutter in Hard Murum Strata to the specified section including stacking the excavated stuff in a regular bund and disposing of unsuitable or excess stuff as directed all sorts of soils, by Mechanical Means.

ITEM No. 18 :- Watering and compacting of embankment formed of materials obtained from the road cutting within a lead of 50 metre, not less than 97 % of standard Proctor density after laying them in layers of 20 centimetre to 30 centimetre with power roller.

ITEM No. 19 :- Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate ( VSI grade finely washed crushed sand) conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 millimetre, cement content not to be less than 150 Kilogram per cubic metre, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant/ Weigh batch mixer, transported to site with all leads and lifts, laid with a paver with electronic sensor /by suitable means as approved by Engineer-in-charge, compacting with vibratory roller, finishing, curing and including preparation of sub-grade surface if required etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 20 :- Providing and laying in-situ M-30 Grade unreinforced plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement, coarse and fine aggregate (natural sand/ VSI grade finely washed crushed sand) conforming to IS 383, using fine and coarse aggregates combined gradation as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification 2013, mixed in a Tilting type Concrete Mixer as per approved mix design, admixtures, spreading, laying compacting and finished in a continuous operation without paver machine, finishing to lines and grades as directed by Engineer-in-charge and curing by curing compound /by providing cement vata in cement Mortar 1:8 @ 0.6 metre X 0.6 metre centre to centre, admeasuring 80 millimetre at bottom and 40 millimetre at top with depth of 75 millimetre and maintaining the same throughout curing period by any other method approved by Engineer-in-charge. with fully automatic micro processor based PLC with SCADA enabled reversible Drum Type mixer/ concrete Batch mix plant (Pan mixer) etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 21 :- Providing and fixing in position TMT FE 500, 25 millimetre diametre dowel bars precoated with anticorrosive epoxy paint of required diametre 60 centimetres long and at 30.00 centimetre centre to centre and wherever directed including handling, straightening, necessary cutting supported by TMT FE 500, chairs with proper alignment by using properly designed assembly of Bulkheads lubricating half length with bituminous paint as directed etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 22 :- Providing and fixing in position TMT FE 500, tie bars precoated with anticorrosive epoxy paint of 12 millimetre diameter 70 centimetre long and at 30.00 centimetre centre to centre and wherever directed including handling, straightening wrapping with paper of approved quality for half length, necessary cutting, handling, straightening, supported by assembly of TMT FE 500, chairs with proper alignment etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 23 :- Cutting transverse contraction joints 3 to 4 millimetre wide and depth 60 millimetre in concrete slab using concrete cutting machine with diamond studded saw within 48 hours of casting of bay / slab etcetera complete including subsequent widening of the groove 8 to 10 millimetre wide at top having depth of 15 millimetre as directed by Engineer in charge.

ITEM No. 24 :- Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 millimetre thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250 gm/sqm. Thickness of 2.5 millimetre is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications. (Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015).

ITEM No. 25 :- Providing and fixing Mandatory / Regulatory sign boards in circular shape of 600 millimetre diametre made out of 3 millimetre aluminum composite material bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B (Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive / heat activated adhesive retro-reflective specified back ground, border and back side retro-reflective symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC:67-2012 Table No 8.3 Supported with back support frame 25 millimetre x 25 millimetre x 3 millimetre, duly painted on back side with grey stove enamel paint and supported on one number of Mild Steel angle iron post of size 65 millimetre X 65 millimetre X 6 millimetre, 3.45 metre long, duly painted with with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25 centimetre width including Galvanised Iron fixtures etcetera; fixing the boards in M-25 grade concrete block of size 60 centimetre X 60 centimetre X 75 centimetre including transportation etcetera; complete. Class B ( Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) shall have 7 years written warranty from the manufacturer and authorised distributor/convertor issued for field performance including the screen printed areas and cut-out sheeting and cut-out durable transparent overlay film and this warranty certificate in original should be submitted to the Engineer in charge by the contractor / supplier.

ITEM No. 26 :- Providing and fixing Cautionary / Warning sign boards in Equilateral Triangle size of 900 millimetre made out of 4 millimetre aluminum composite material bonded with white retro reflective sheeting of Class B (Type IV High intensity micro-prismatic grade sheeting-HIP) having pressure sensitive / heat activated adhesive retro-reflective specified back ground, border and back side retro-reflective symbols, letters, numerals, arrow as per IRC : 67-2012 Table No 8.3 Supported with back support frame 25 millimetre X 25 millimetre X 3 millimetre, duly painted on back side with grey stove enamel paint and supported on one number of Mild Steel angle iron post of size 65 millimetre X 65 millimetre X 6 millimetre, 3.45 metre long, duly painted with flat oil paint having alternate black and white bands of 25 centimetre width including G. ITEM No. 28 :- Providing and fixing Road junction / Information sign board of size 1.20 metre x 0.90 metre prepared on 16 gauge Mild Steel sheet with angle iron frame of size 35 x 35 x 5 millimetre with cross bracing of size 35 x 35 x 5 millimetre including painting with one coat of zinc cromate stoving primer and two coats each of green/white back ground and back side gray stove enamelled, bonded with red retro reflective sheet Engineering grade, border / letters / numeral /arrows, coated with non pealable crystal clear protective transparent coat retaining 100% reflection including two angle iron post of size 65 x 65 x 6 millimetre of 3.65 metre long inflated at bottom drilled on top and painted in white and black bands of 30 centimetre with 4 Numbers high strength G.I. bolts and nuts of size 10 millimetre diametre and 20 millimetre long sheet and angle iron post in one piece without joints including all taxes, conveying, fixing in ground with M-20 cement concrete of 60 centimetre x 60 centimetre x 75 centimetre size as directed by Engineer-in-charge etcetera complete. Mild Steel sheet with Engineering grade.

ITEM No. 31 :- Providing and fixing 200 metre stone as per IRC design including painting, numbering, fixing in 150 millimetre X 150 millimetre X 900 millimetre standard size cement concrete 1:4:8 block etcetera complete as directed by Engineer in charge.

ITEM No. 32 :- Providing Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 ordinary Kilometre stones including painting, numbering, etcetera complete for National Highway and State Highway and Major District Road as per IRC design for Highway Kilometre stones and fixing in standard size Cement Concrete 1:4:8 block etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 33 :- Providing Reinforced Cement Concrete 5th Kilometre stones including painting, numbering, etcetera complete for National Highway and State Highway and Major District Road as per IRC design for Highway Kilometre stones and fixing in standard size Cement Concrete 1:4:8 block etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 34 :- Dismantling stone masonry in lime or cement mortar including stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts etcetera

ITEM No. 35 :- Removing lime or lean cement concrete including stacking the spoils as directed with all leads, lifts etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 36 :- Removing NP-2 and NP-3 class pipes including stacking at road side as directed by the Engineer in charge - Upto 900 millimetre diameter etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 37 :- Excavation for foundation in earth, soils of all types, sand, gravel, soft murum including shoring and strutting as necessary and disposing off excavated stuff as directed etcetera complete. (By Mechanical Means) (Depth upto 1.50 Metre depth)

ITEM No. 38 :- Excavation for foundation in earth, soils of all types, sand, gravel, soft murum including shoring and strutting as necessary and disposing off excavated stuff as directed etcetera complete. (By Mechanical Means) (Depth from 1.50 Metre to 3.00 metre depth)

ITEM No. 39 :- Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream, providing cofferdams, earthen bunds etcetera as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 3.0 BHP pump etcetera complete. (Prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary)

ITEM No. 40 :- Providing dry/ trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss rubble stone soling 15 centimetre to 20 centimetre thick including hand packing and compacting etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 41 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix / ready mix M-10 cement concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite / gneiss metal in foundation including necessary centering, formwork, bailing out water, compacting and curing etc. complete. (with fully automatic micro processor based PLC with SCADA enabled with reversible drum type mixer/ concrete batch mix plant (pan mixer) with natural / artificial sand)

ITEM No. 42 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix controlled grade of M-25 of trap /granite /quartzite /gneiss metal for RCC works in cut off walls / curtain walls including necessary scaffolding, centering, compacting by vibrator, finishing and curing etc. complete. (with fully automatic micro processor based PLC with SCADA enabled with reversible drum type mixer/ concrete batch mix plant (pan mixer) with fine aggregates of required specifications (VSI sand finely washed etcetera), excluding reinforcement).

ITEM No. 43 :- Providing and filling sand in foundation trenches / below Raft as per drawing and technical specifications etcetera complete (Coarse Sand and Gravel).

ITEM No. 44 :- Providing and fixing pressure relief pipes of 110 millimetre diametre of PVC as per drawing for Reinforced cement concrete Raft, galaries returns, abutments, wing wall etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 45 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix M-30 controlled reinforced cement concrete of trap metal for raft slab including "V" haunches, formwork, scaffolding, compaction by vibrating, finishing curing etc. complete. concrete batch mix plant / pan mixer with fine aggregates of required specifications ( VSI sand finely washed etcetera ) etcetera complete. (excluding reinforcement). a) RCC Grade with reversible drum type mixer/ concrete batch mix plant (pan mixer).

ITEM No. 46 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix M-30 RCC of trap/ granite/ quartzite/ gneiss metal for RCC work of ballast walls, kerbs and box returns including scaffolding, compaction, formwork finishing and curing etcetera complete. ITEM No. 51 :- Providing, cutting, bending, hooking, tying and laying in position TMT FE 500 steel bars for reinforcement for all reinforced cement concrete works as per detailed drawings etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 52 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix M-20 cement concrete of trap/ granite / quartzite / gneiss metal for wearing course 8 centimetre thick including compacting, finishing, curing and filling in joints with bitumen etcetera complete. (with fully automatic micro processor based PLC with SCADA enabled concrete batch mix plant / pan mixer with Natural / VSI standard Artificial Sand)

ITEM No. 53 :- Providing expansion joints with 25 millimetre thick bituminous pad as per detailed drawings etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 54 :- Providing and laying weep holes of 100 millimetre diameter PVC pipes as per drawing for abutment returns, return walls etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 55 :- Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall as per drawings and technical specifications etcetera complete. (by granular material)

ITEM No. 57 :- Providing and laying in position 90 centimetre thick flexible stone matt as per standard drawing consisting of 45 centimetre thick trap rubble soling, 22.50 centimetre thick oversize metal layer of 100 millimetre to 150 millimetre metal, 1.30 centimetre thick layer of 80 millimetre to 100 millimetre oversize metal, and 11.20 centimetre thick layer of 40 millimeter size metal with blindage of hard murum for rubble soling and oversize, soft murum for size metal layer, consolidation 15 centimetre to 23 centimetre soiling, consolidation of 80 millimeter to 100 millimetre, 100 millimetre to 150 millimetre over size metal in two layers and consolidation of 40 millimetre size metal layers in single layer with watering etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 58 :- Providing and laying boulders apron on river bed for protection against scour with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 Kilogram each complete as per drawings and Technical specifications etcetera complete. (boulder laid without wire crates)

ITEM No. 59 :- Providing railing of mild steel angle post 2.0 metre center to center of section 75 millimetre X 75 millimetre X 10 millimetre or equivalent I/C section of height 1.05 metre above bridge surface with minimum anchor length of 30 centimetre including hold fast of 25 millimetre diameter mild steel bar welded at the bottom and concreting of 1:3:6 of size 30 centimetre x 30 centimetre x 30 centimetre with three rows of 40 millimetre B class Galvanised Iron pipe provided at 30 centimetre on center to center including scaffolding and one coat of anticorrosive paint with two coats of oil painting, curing of concrete etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 60 :- Excavation for foundation in hard murum and boulders including shoring and strutting as necessary and disposing off excavated stuff as directed etcetera complete.

ITEM No. 61 :- Providing and laying in situ / ready mix / ready mix M-10 cement concrete of trap/ granite/ quartzite / gneiss metal in foundation including necessary centering, formwork, bailing out water, compacting and curing etcetera complete. (with reversible drum type mixer/ concrete batch mix plant (pan mixer) with natural / artificial sand)
