| 1.01 | Under sluice gate
Provision of Diving Services: Deployment of 02 (two) professional underwater divers along with 01 (one) qualified diving supervisor responsible for managing oxygen cylinders, ensuring diver safety, and handling other necessary underwater equipment. The scope also includes the provision of a boat, life jackets, and all standard safety gear required at the site.
The scope of work shall include the following:Underwater Cleaning Work:Cleaning of the surface and blend grooves at both ends, specifically at the pier and sill base of sluice gates located underwater at significant depth.Manual Sealing Operations:
o Manual sealing of the under-sluice gates from the upstream side using appropriate materials such as cotton waste, jute bags, rubber strips, etc., as per the site condition and operational requirement.
2. Inspection & Verification:
o Detailed inspection of the sluice gate post-sealing to ensure proper closure and sealing efficiency.
3. Safety and Compliance:
o All diving operations shall strictly comply with standard diving safety protocols and relevant safety regulations.
Note -1.The diving team shall be responsible for executing the above tasks efficiently and ensuring that all work is performed with utmost safety and technical precision.
2. The agency shall be fully responsible during this period, and under no circumstances should there be any leakage from the gates. If any leakage occurs, the agency will be held fully accountable.
Even if the leakage is due to factors such as flow pressure, interference by outsiders (e.g., fishermen), or discharge flow, the agency will still be responsible. In such cases, the agency must immediately rectify the leakage with its own team and without any delay. The agency must also coordinate with departmental staff to maintain continuous watch and ward duties to ensure that no leakage occurs during the work period.
If any leakage is observed at the gates, it must be stopped immediately without causing a drop in the pond level or wastage of Yamuna River water. Even if controlled discharge through the gates is necessary, the agency must still ensure the gates are made leak-proof without any delay or excuse during the work period. | 12 | 90 Days | 80 | ₹960 | 18% |
