Maintenance contract for Lawn at WIP, UOF, VWSF and NSB for 2024-25, INRPK, Kalpakkam

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges and when required including running lawn mover at regular interval, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at KKM dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Materials required for maintaining the lawn as per consumable material Annexure-A at 2 spell annually and it is compulsory to provide each lot once in six months and one lot to be provided at initial stage within 15 days from the date of issue of work order Note: 1.The rate shall also include cost of all tools, water delivery hose required for gardening etc., 2.The contractors shall engage minimum 20nos. of man power daily. Unskilled female - 16nos. and Unskilled male - 4nos. Failure to comply with the minimum attendance of labour will attract penal charge specified as per Technical specification of contract attached with the tender (If required). Contactor should pay minimum wages as per Chief Labour Commissioner (C) order No: F.No.I / 27 (3) / 2024-LS-II dated 25.09.2024 w.e.f. 01.10.2024. 3. Contractor has to submit proof of payment of PF before raising RA bills. 4. Online payment of minimum wages through Bank Account must be ensured before clearing any bills. 5. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers coveniences, charge for disposing grass and vegetation and cost of fuel. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 6. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20Paise/Sq.m. Will be levied as penalty from RA Bill ( If applicable).

Bush Rose in different colour 2 to 3 healthy branch 30 cm and above ht. well developed with 8 or more flowers / flower buds in 20 cm Earthen pot / Plastic pot as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and Displaying Standard Rose (H.T. variety) 3 to 4 healthy branch 90 cm and above ht. well developed with one and above flowers in 25 cm Earthen Pot, as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and stacking of Allamanda violacea of height 30 cm to 45 cm. in poly bag of size 20 cm as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and stacking of Bougainvillea (Variety Butiana, Lady Mary Baring, Mahara,Mohan,Scarlet Queen, Variegated, Glabra Formosa, Peruviana Odissi, Paratha, Subhra,Thimma, Spectabilis L.N Birla, Refulgens) of height 30 cm. to 45 cm. with 2-3 branches in 20 cm size of Earthen pots / Plastic pots & as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and stacking of Clerodendrum thomsoniae of height 30 cm.to 45 cm in 20 cm size of poly bag & as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and stacking of Jasmine humile (Yellow) of height 30 cm to 45cm. in 20 cm size of Earthen pots / Plastic pots & as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Providing and stacking of Tecoma grandiflora of height 30 cm to 45 cm. in 20 cm size of Earthen pots / Plastic pots & as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Collection, Supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100 metres and filling in pits etc., Complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collection, Supplying and stacking of decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same to at places as shown by Engineer for taking pre measurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pit etc., Complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Spreading of sludge, dump manure and/or good earth in required thickness as per direction of officer-in-charge (cost of sludge, dump manure and/ or good earth to be paid separately).

Providing and laying Neelgiri/Mexican grass turf with earth 50mm to 60mm thickness of existing ground prepared with proper level and ramming with tools wooden (Dhurmos) and then rolling the surface with light roller make the surface smoothen and light watering with sprinkler and maintenance for 30 days or more till the grass establish properly, as per direction of officer-in-charge.
