SUB-HEAD: II : Supply and Installation of Fire Fighting Equipment

Providing, laying, testing & commissioning of 'C' class heavy duty MS pipe conforming to IS 1239/Class -II of IS: 3589 including Welding, fittings like elbows, tees, flanges, tapers, nuts bolts, gaskets etc. and fixing the pipe on the wall/ceiling with suitable clamp/support frame and painting with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade complete as required :

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of butterfly valve of PN 1.6 rating with bronze / gun metal seat duly ISI marked complete with nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets conforming to IS:13095 of following sizes as required.

Supplying and fixing first-aid Hose Reel with MS construction spray painted in post office red, conforming to IS 884 complete with the following as required. (a) 20 mm nominal internal dia water hose thermoplastic (Textile reinforced) type -2 as per IS: 12585 (b) 20 mm nominal internal dia gun metal globe valve & nozzle. (c) Drum and brackets for fixing the equipmets on wall. (d) Connections from riser with 25 mm dia stop gun metal valve & M.S. Pipe and socket.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of fire alarm sounder with facility to make announcement, mounted in MS Box (16 SWG) with hinged cover plate and suitable for operation with amplifier i/c line matching transformer etc. as required.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of manual call box of ABS type in surface / recess with stainless steel chain and hammer assembly complete with glass and push button etc. as required.

Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of smoke detector with builtin LED and mounting base complete with all connections etc. as required.

Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning response indicator on surface/recess MS box having two LEDs metallic cover complete with all connections etc. as required.

Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of heat detector operating at 54ºC/57ºC with rate of rise cum fixed temperature (dual thermistor) type with mounting base complete with all connection etc. as required

Supplying & laying of 2x1.5 sqmm fire alarm armoured cable, 600/1000V rated with annealed copper conductor having XLPE insulation, steel wire armouring & FRLS/HFFR outer sheath complete as required.

Providing & fixing of pressure switch in M.S. pipe line including connection etc. as required.

Cleaning of underground tank with white wash including water removing and fillup the tank etc. complete as required.

Service charges for Liasoning up work from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) for obtaining NOC (excluding NOC fees which would be reimbursed against the original copy of bill) for operation of Fire fighting and Fire Alarm system. In case of descripancies pointed by the DFS the same have to comply/ executed at their requirement. (All the extra work which is not cover under AMC will be payable to the firm.)

A and B checks (replacement of complete kit i.e. oil filter, fuel filter, oil, coolant etc) of following Fire Diesel Engine Set as per the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. (A & B checks work of Fire DG Set shall be done only the Manufacturer / Authorized Sale & Services dealers of Kirloskar DG Set.

Painting (one or more coats) on rain water, soil, waste, vent & fire pipes and fittings (i.e hydrant valves, NRV, landing valves and sluice valve) with synthetic enemal fire red paint of approved brand and manufacture and required (red) colour on old work.

Providing and fixing of 20 mm Stainless steel shut off nozzle in existing hose reel box including connection etc., as required.

Supplying & Fixing of Hose Cabinet of size 750 x 600 x 250 made up 1.6 mm thick MS Sheet with 4 mm thick glazed glass doors i/c necessary locking arrangement suitable to accommodate 02 nos 15 mtr long hose pipe , 1 nos Branch pipe & duly painted with post office red externally & white internally with synthetic enamel paint complete in all respect etc as required.

Providing and fixing of pressure gauge (0-10 Kg/Sq.cm) in MS pipe including connection etc., as required.

Supply and fixing SS Female delivery Couplings 63 mm dia for hyndrant box valve etc complete in all respect.

Supplying and drawing 2x1.5 Sq.mm. sizes of FRLS/HFFR PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in the existing surface/ recessed steel/ PVC conduit as required.

Supplying, installation, Testing and commissioning of 12 V, 07 AH maintenance free batteries, including connection etc as required

Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning talk back slave station in surface/recess suitable for operation on simplex mode complete with P.T.T. knob & speaker/microphone enclosed in a M.S.(16 SWG)/ ABS box with break glass in front etc. complete as required.

Supplying and fixing Single headed external/Internal yard hydrant valve with 1 No. 63 mm dia instantaneous FM Gunmetal/Stainless Steel coupling and cast iron wheel, ISI marked, conforming to IS 5290 (type A) with blank Gunmetal/Stainless Steel cap and chain as required :

Supplying, cutting to size, and fixing 4 mm acrylic sheet in existing fire hydrant cabin boxes of various sizes, including necessary gaskets, fittings, and all works, etc. complete as required

Refilling and repainting of CO2, 3 Kg capacity fire extinguishers including replacing damage discharge horn/ pipe and all damages parts etc complete in all respect.

Refilling and Repainting of ABC type fire extinguishers of 1 kg capacity including replacing discharge horns and all damages parts, testing etc complete in all respect.
