Providing, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of new Diesel Driven Dewatering Pump Set at Dewatering Station Indira Colony.

Design, Providing, Installation, testing and commissioning of 02 Cusec discharge, 18 mtr Head, raw water, quick self priming, non-clog, dewatering pump coupled with suitable capacity water cooled diesel engine driven set of reputed make at Dewatering Station Indira Colony, Jammu. The job involves dismantling of existing old dewatering pump set from its installed position after decoupling the pump-engine assembly, dismantling of suction and delivery pipes extraction of damaged embedded base frame from the old RCC block and shifting of the dismantled pumping machinery to the stacking place. Laying of New RCC Foundation Block for the dewatering pumping unit at Indira colony by way of complete dismantling of existing foundation block including cutting of reinforcement steel and anchor bolts by deployment of skilled and unskilled labour along with the required tools and tackles at the site. The job also includes disposal of excavated debris at suitable place. Laying of new RCC block of suitable specifications as per the size of the base plate of the pumping unit to be installed, in cement concrete work in 1:1½:3 ratios for attaining required strength. It includes providing, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and laying in position of 10mm dia reinforcement steel including shuttering proper curing and finishing of exposed portion. The job includes fabrication and erection in position of anchor bolts with one end threaded and other end at the base concreted with the anchoring. The job may include any other fabrication work required for proper fitting/alignment of pumping unit as per site conditions. The foundation bolts are to be welded to steel reinforcement of foundation block in proper alignment and spacing with respect to base frame properly leveled and sealed to the required position. Placing of base frame on newly constructed RCC foundation block including cost of material, carriage, labour, consumables, hire charges and mobilization of related machinery/equipment, handling, loading, unloading, transportation and stacking. Fitting of dewatering pump set on base frame with proper alignment. Providing and fitting of new reinforced flexible suction pipe 35 feet long of requisite dia, foot valve, nipple, M.S bend, clamp, sockets requisite Nos. matching with suction and delivery lines, assembling of exhaust manifold, silencer and air filter assembly along with L shaped bend by P/F of gasket, nuts and bolts as per requirement. Providing and filling of 5 litre M.oil for engine. The dewatering pump set shall be inspected from third party complying with ISO 17020 standards before dispatch. The inspection charges shall be paid by the firm/contractor. The inspection charges shall not be re-imbursed. Job also involves shifting of dismantled old dewatering unit from Indira colony dewatering station to divisional store of MICD Jammu. Complete Job includes cost of material, skilled/semi-skilled labour charges loading, unloading and carriages charges inclusive of all taxes as applicable.
