MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION: Maintenance and operation of Sewage Treatment Plant round the clock in three shifts (of 08 hrs duration each) per day including Sunday and holiday with one skilled operator for trouble free operation to ensure maximum optimisation of plant including monitoring the performance of the treated sewage by data logging, monthly report preparation and reporting to MES on performance of Sewage Treatment, maintenance of different types of pumps, blower etc. including periodic cleaning (fortnightly) , scheduled maintenance of running equipments, attending to the emergency break down of the components, regular testing of plant equipments by 'Walk Down' checks of internal conditions of equipments such as plant performance, pump test, decomposition system testing, etc. careful logging of Operational Data and periodically processing it to determine any abnormal or slowly deterioating conditions, careful control and supervision of operational conditions including all consumables and spare parts for maintenance of plant as directed by Engineer-in-Charge from the next date of completion of Phase - I. Note:- (i) The quoted rates of bidders shall be deemed to be inclusive of the following aspects as below and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (a) Generation and submission of reports in soft/ hard copy format as required by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Area cleaning and removing of grasses, bushes etc. as per instructions of the Engr-in-Charge. (c) Safety and security of all equipments, chambers, T&P, substation complete. (d) Sufficient trained manpower as per OEM or routine schedule/break down maintenance of all Plant equipment, HT/LT control system etc. (ii) Any defective equipments/ parts of STP plant shall be replaced without any extra cost during defects liability period.

Item No. 87.00 Contd… (iii) The operators and helper as per OEM's instruction for proper maintainance of the Sewage Treatment system working for 08 hrs shall consitute one shift and the quoted rate of the contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect. (iv) Safety chart, First Aid chart and First Aid kit will be provided by contractor and the quoted rate of the contractor shall deemed to be included of this aspect. (v) Periodical cleaning of all STP tanks, chambers and equipments shall be done on quarterly basis alongwith dated photographs, to be kept on record, as per instruction given by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) All consumables like bio culture, Chlorine/Alam etc., as required for regular maintenance ofplant is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra amount entertained on this account. List of consumables shall be recorded and submitted to Engr-in-Charge during the claim of RAR. (vii) All test parameters for treated water shall be tested on quarterly basis from any National Test House/IIT/NIT/Zonal Lab./Command testing Lab/NABL Lab/Govt approved Lab to confirm that parameters of treated sewage water are within specified limits and the test reports shall be submitted by the contractor with the interim payment bill due at the time of such testing. (viii) Outsourcing of services of Maint & Operation shall be done through OEM/their authorized service agency. Necessary MOU shall be submitted for item No. 87.00 to 911.00.
