REPAIR/SERVICING OF HT VCBS, HT PANELS, OCBS AND MAINT OF UNDERGROUND HT CABLE WITH CONNECTED WORK UNDER E/M II IN GE (C) KHADKI

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5 mtr in wide and n. exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Removing of excavted soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand for cushioning to under ground cable providing with a layer of and 08 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable in trenches, hand punning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Note : punning thickness of 18 cm will be measured for payment)

S&L un-reinforced precast concrete HT cable cover, class HV, type 1 flat , size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, installing, commissioning and testing outdoor type gang operated double stack air-break switch, triple pole, centre rotating with earth switch Turn N Twist type, mechanically operated with blades rotating in horizontal plane having live parts shall be of anti-rusting and non-corrosive metal with MS channel insulators base (as per manufacturers size), having current carrying components of hot galvanised non-ferrous, with double roller or double ball-bearings, having handle for manual operation made of 25 MM dia GI pipe; Line earth switches shall consist of three earthing links per isolator with each grounding blade provided with the flexible copper connections of suitable size (as suggested by OEM) and of adequate length for connection between the operating shaft and the frame complete and having following specifications all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge including dismantling and taking out old switch and connections complete - (a) Nominal voltage : 22 kV, (b) Maximum voltage : 24 kV, (c) Frequency : 50 Hz, (d) Number of phases : 3, (e) Solidly earthed, (f) Rated current (Amps.) : 400 all as specified and as directed.

Supply installation, commissioning and testing drop out HT 22 KV, 400 Amps fuse link consisting of channel iron base having 2 Nos 22 KV post type insulators in stack & 2 stack per phase complete with fuse carrier of SRBP tube with heavily tinned non ferrous metal parts and spring loaded phosphor bronze contact complete manufactured as per latest IS complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE for Item No 6.00 to 7.00:- The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cost of cutting, welding, drilling etc. and other jobs incld. cost of nut, bolts, washers, etc. minor items required for the efficient operation of GOD/DO and removing of old GOD/ DO complete.

Supply, laying in replacement, in trenches/trenchless bore /ducts/fixing on pole or any location as indicated, XLPE insulated, screened, earthed, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip, electric power cable (heavy duty) of size 3 x 300 sqmm with aluminium conductor suitable for 22 KV (E) grade as per relevent IS including latest amendment for IS testing, commissionong all as specified and directed including taking out of old burnt out cable as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site. Note:- (a) Necessry tests to be conducted at site before and after laying of HT cable and reading shall be recorded jointly and test report to be submitted in triplicate to the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above.

Supply only laying HDPE pipe, 140mm dia (OD), PN-10, min wall thickness 8mm, ISI Marked, in trench or in trenchless bore, for protection of cable, in continuous length all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site. Note: (a) Pipe should be continuous in length as per cable length, rate including jointing if required. (b) Rates for laying of pipe in underground boar included in the item No 8 above.

M&L for servicing of HT vacuum circuit breaker (HT VCB) of capacity 630/800A, 22 KV, 350 MVA for servicing, repairs, replacement of defective/worn out minor parts / components and reassembling complete comprising of the following including testing and commissioning to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge:-

Dismantling the HTCB from the enclosure consisting of vacuum interrupter assembly, socket contacts , checking the serviceability of the parts carefully including cleaning, adjustments, replacement of defective/worn out parts and re-assembling the unit complete.

Cleaning the external surface of bushings with CTC or Liquid ammonia to remove the accumulation of dirt or any other deposits. Inspection of bushings and make sure that vibration due to breaker operation have not caused the bushings to move resulting misallignment of contacts.

Checking the vaccum interrupter assembly and contacts. Checking the allignment of contacts and setting the contact surfaces to bare firm and uniform pressure and adjust the gap as per manufacterurs tolerance. Badly potted contacts needs to be replaced.

Checking the breaker bushing of bus bar and circuit side inspecting the internal surface carefully for any charging/trackings,replacement of bushings.

Dismantling the spring charging mechanism of the HTCB, checking the operations of the closing/tripping through closing/tripping coils electrically as well as manualy charging including cleaning adjustments complete for smoothly functioning.

Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing to the motor commulator bushes, lubrication of bearing surfaces etc.

Checking the ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts for smooth functioning

Checking the type and release prop and dash pot assembly making necessary adjustment

Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke.

Checking of operating voltage at mechanism terminals and tripping arrangement for positive tripping. Contacts to be examined for their condition and operation.

Review the adjustment of all pressure switches and lockout devices.

Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and coller pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly.

Inspection, cleaning and relubrication of circuit breaker

All as per item No 12.00 above but HT VCB of capacity 1250 Amps

M&L for servicing of HT oil circuit breaker (HT OCB) of capacity 800/400A.22 KV, 350 MVA for servicing , repairs, replacement of defective/worn out minor parts / compounents and reassembling complete comprising of the following including testing and commissioning to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge:-

Dismatling the HTCB by separating the upper chamber consisting of contacts and cross bar assembly from the oil tank, checking the serviceability of the following parts carefully including cleaning, adjustment,replacement of dffective/worn out parts (excluding parts) re-assembling the unit complete.

Drain out the oil from the tank, cleaning the tank by removing the sediments at the bottom, checking the condition of the tank liners and gaskets including replacement of defective gasket/tank liners. Testing of oil, if shows signs of moisture, carbonisation or dirt filtering and testing and replacement if necessary. Ensuring the oil guage indicating properly the actual oil level. Checking the condition of all gaskets to ensure that they are sealed properly and arrest any leakages by replaceing the gaskets or sealing the box outside and inside ,with necessery sealing material etc.

Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker including cleaning, lubrication to all moving parts of the breaker mechanism like hold on catch assembly, trip bridge, trip lever and assembly, charging motor, belt, latchgear and worm gear assembly clutch shaft etc for proper operation both electrically and manualy. Checking the operating mechanism of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke. Parts which shows excessive wear and tear to be replaced or adjusted as per manufacterurs tolerance.

Checking of operating voltage at mechanism terminals and tripping arrangement for positive tripping. Contacts to be examined for their condition and operation. Dress the pitted contactcts and replace if necessary.

Checking the raise /lower mechanism in three position(Draw out,test,service) and lubrication to the moving parts.

Review the adjustment of all pressure switches and lockout devices.

Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and coller pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly.

Inspection, cleaning and relubrication of circuit breaker

Checking the auxiliary contact assembly, cleaning/replacement of contacts, adjustment of operating lever and lubrication to moving parts and apply petroleum jelly to the contacts.

NOTEs for item No 12.00 to 14.00:-

Cost of additional hardwares like bolts,nuts , washers, spring washers, prtroleum jelly or any other item not included in the list of supply only spare parts etc, to put the breaker in serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the rate quoted .

The major spare parts required to be replaced are measured and paid for separatly.

Old unserviceable spare parts removed from the breakers shall be accounted for under schedule of credit

Contractor should visit the sire before quoting the rates.

Repair /Maint/Reconditioning of breaker In-Out trolly, including proper allignment of wheels, wheel moving channel/rail, ramp etc, repairing of stoper pins, locking pins, replacement of dammaged wheels, fixing base etc complete for smooth operation of trolly for in/out and up/down etc complete all as specified and directed . Note: Rates including necessary welding, bending, staightning work if required as per site requirement.

Repair/maint of HT Panel Board duly Decarbonsing/cleaning, HT panels board of 22 KV cubicle type, consists of bus bar chamber, circuit chamber and metering chambers, by opening the spout/bus covers inspecting the bus bar joints, cleaning of bus bars, checking the bus bar spouts and circuit spouts for any flash overs/tracks, applying Becktolred solution to the bus bars and spouts having moderate tracking, replacement of bus bar/circuit spouts in case of spouts subjects to heave tracking, applying HT insulated red compounds/Monoplist compound at the bus bar joints after tightening of joints, cleaning of bus bar insulators and bus bars with CTC and improving megger with inject to ensure proper decarbonisation and re-assembling complete including fixing of new bus bar supporting insulators if required to be replaced all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note: Cost of cleaning and insulating material included in the unit rate. Contractor should visit the site before quoting the rates.

S&F digital type multifunction meter V, A, F, PF, kW, kVA, kVAR, kWh, kVAh, kVARh, 3 Phase 4 wire AC 440 Volts 50 Hz of rating 5 Amps with Class 1.0 with Provision for housing the meter & control wiring with 2.5 Sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed multistranded copper conductor including testing & Commissioning complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE:- 1. During the replacement of any relay, modification of panel, necessary control wiring , testing, calibration, setting with load requirements etc., are deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted. 2. Contractor should visit site before quoting the rates.

M&L for removing of defective current transformer and S&F in existing location 22 KV indoor type epoxy resin cast HT CT Ratio as per existing ratio or as required at site, dual core Class 5P 10 for protection, metering Class 1.0 as per existing size/shape suitable for optimum perforemance of relays all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

M&L for removing of defective potantial transformer and S&F in existing location 22 KV indoor type epoxy resin cast HT PT Ratio 22KV/110V Class 1.0 200 VA burden suitable for optimum perforemance of relays all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

M&L for removing of defective Jaw contacts any type and S&F in old location 22 KV Jaw contacts suitable for HT Breaker as per existing size/shape suitable for optimum perforemance of breaker all as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing of defective Closinng coil any type and S&F in old location 22 KV Closing coil suitable for HT Breaker as per existing size/shape suitable for optimum perforemance of breaker all as specified and as directed.

M&L for removing of defective Tripping coil any type and S&F in old location 22 KV Tripping coil suitable for HT Breaker as per existing size/shape suitable for optimum perforemance of breaker all as specified and as directed.

M&L for HT fuse for PT 22 KV 25 KA breaking cap of rating as per existing for the perticular HT panel as per existing shape and size tubeler or box type complete with fuse holder all as specified and directed. Note: Fuses shall be checked at site and order shall be done as per sample

M&L for disconnecting HT/LT XLPE cable of any size from structure/pole/transformer for finding fault, defect rectification HT/LTcable laid in trenches or any location by locating fault with the help of electronic fault locating machine comprising of surge generator pulse, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc.including and additional excavation in normal or any type of strata required for exposing the cable fault. removal of deteriorated portion of cable treating of cable and keeping the same ready for jointing work for cable of any size. The fault locating equipments will be brought to site within the 6 hours of instruction from Engr-in-Charge as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Complaint will be notified to contractor on mobile phone at any time between 0800 hrs to 2200 hrs and will be rectified within 6 hours after notification, failing which Rs 500/- per day per complaint will be recovered. 2. Rates included necessary earth work in any type of strata or Road or Tank road for opening the cable and prepare the cable ready to jointing work and making good to match with existing finishes

M&L in repairs HT heat shrinkable indoor type end termination cable jointing kit suitable for 22 KV 3 core 120-/185 sqmm XLPE aluminium conductor cable including disconnecting of cable and removing of old jointing kit complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item Ser No 26.00 above but cable size 300 Sqmm 3 core

M&L in repairs HT heat shrinkable indoor type end termination cable jointing kit suitable for 11 KV 3 core 95 sqmm XLPE aluminium conductor cable including disconnecting of cable and removing of old jointing kit complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repairs HT heat shrinkable strait through cable jointing kit suitable for 11 KV 3 core 95 sqmm XLPE aluminium conductor cable including disconnecting of cable and removing of old jointing kit complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs heavy duty station class, Metal oxide lightning arrestors, 11 kV, with all fittings earthed system discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Modifications to support structure as per OEM Requirements shall be the scope of Contractor. No Extra payment will be entertained on this account.

M&L for preparation of steel surfaces of existing MOCB/ breaker cubical panel including cleaning/scrapping of old painted surface, removing all the scrapped of paint particals from the panel using the proper vaccum cleaner to the complete satisafication of engr-in-charge, applaying two coats of synthetic enamel paint by using of spray machine to finish the surface glosy of colour or/shade approved by Eng-in-charge commissioning of breaker after completing the job include marking of MES/SM No, incomoming, outgoing to or from etc all as specified and directed. Note :-(a) The quoted rate is deemed to the inclusive of painting details pertaning to respective breaker like - details of CT & PT connected, caliberated and set parameters of protection relay installed details of transformer fed by respective HV breaker, etc all as specified by Eng-in-charge on the inside of the panel door/wall covered with transparent sheet all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old unserviceable cable ducts from within the panel, S&F PVC cable ducts of size of size 45x30 MM including drawing existing cable through the ducts and commissioning the panel all as directed and specified by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1 : 4 : 8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in foundation for pole including necessary form work all as specified and directed

M&L for Chemical Earthing complete with copper bonded earthing rod 25mm outer dia electrode, including testing 3 mtr long and having suitable hole on top to connect earthing strip with copper nut bolts and washers, placed in ground in a bore 3.5 mtr drilled by Pneumatic boring machine and 50 Kg BFC coumpound having high moistue retaining capacity, earth pit cover made of reinforced FRP complete all as specified and as directed. Make: U_Protect or equivalent. Note; (a) Contractor should visit site before quoting the rates. (b) Rates including demolition of old earthing. (c) Contrctor should provide all necessary safety measures during exectution the job and responsible for any loss to the Govt property during execution the job.

M&L Earth continuity copper conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. of size 20x3mm all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates MS sheet fabricated from structual steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size for repair to panels, duct cover and as indicted and inclusive of one primer coat one under coat and two finishing coat of aluminium /oil paint all as specified and as directed.

M&L for replacement of batterry inter connecting lead / srtip with terminal and nut bolt mabe from lead metal as per sample for connecting of batterries in series of 200 AH all as directed at site.

Supplying and fixing 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC sheathed in service connections one twin core cable flat or circular of size 6 Sqmm all as specified and as directed

All as per item No 40 above but of size 10 Sqmm
