Excavation in soil in hilly area by mannual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damaged to hill side, water pollution etc., and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling & wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1. All useful material such as stones, singles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property during the course execution shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor which shall have to the dully compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structures by manual means in all depths as per drawing and Technical specifications Clause 305.1 incuding setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal in all leads and lifts incuding dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material, all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil errosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc., and to protect stability of hill side. Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 sand : 12 graded/ crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation and plinth including form work and curing complete as per drawing and Technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203) P.C.C nominal mix 1:5:10 (40mm aggregates) including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 P.C.C. grade M 10 nominal mix 1:3:6 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg. each as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1301 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

PLaying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108, 900mmincluding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing weapholes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia PVC pie extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1 (v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614,709,1204.3.7 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification clauses 1204.3.8. Granular Material including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

SuStone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification 100mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads & lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
