Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres (HSR 6.6)

Cement Concrete 1:8:16 with brick ballast 40mm nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.26)

First class brick laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in foundation and plinth. (HSR 11.4)

12 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 (HSR 15.5)

Dholpur stone tiles 25 mm thick in wall facing (lining) laid in any pattern as specified on 12 mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone including rubbing and labour for fixing cramps, pins and dowles etc. (HSR 14.60)

Fine dressed and machine rubbed red sand stone (from Agra) 25 mm to 30 mm thick on wall facing (lining) on wall, pillars, skirting, dado and riser of step laid in any pattern as specified on 12 mm thick cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement with an admixture of pigment to match the shade of stone including labour for fixing cramps, dowels and pins etc. (HSR 14.59)

Earth filling in planter in all kind of soils including dressing and breaking of clouds and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9 . Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
