Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m deep and not exceeding 1.5 m wide and getting out in soft/ loose soil for all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand filling in trenches above and below the cable as in cable protection. NOTE:Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Taking down carefully old unserviceable UG cable (LT/HT) of any size from the trenches/wall/pole and keeping aside for reuse and remove the unserviceable cable from site after affording credit depending on its serviceability state including removal of brick/PCC cable cover complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for Separately

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm

Laying only reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1 with peak, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm. The PCC cable cover will be provided after checking the serviceability of cable cover removed in item no 5.

Supply and fix in repairs GI tubing 'Light' grade with all fittings for cable protection fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads crossing etc and made good the disturbed surfaces/ area all as specified and directed for size of pipe 50 mm bore

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT underground XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded,armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross-sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core, conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) of 1988 laid in trenches/wall/floors/ducts etc fixed with saddle and clamps or passing through pipes complete with cable and connection with proper thimbles, nuts, bolts and washers all as specified and directed. (Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning and PCC cover for cable protection will be measured & paid for seperately)

Laying only in repairs including jointing, testing and commissioning of XLPE/PVC insulated, armoured, heavy duty, LT UG electric cable with aluminum conductor 1100 volt grade of size up to 4/3.5 core 35 sqmm including provision of new lugs, glands etc laid in trenches or fixed on wall/pole or drawn through conduit all as specified and as directed. Note : Cable shall be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing/laying only.

Testing of LT UG cable by checking the insulation resistance using 5000v x 10000v fault insulation locator tester, identify any number of cable fault in a single stretch (from source to load) and pin point the fault location complete all as specified & as directed for length upto 2000 m . Note: In single stretch any Nos of fault shall be paid as each job.

Supply and fix of Combi space heaters with built in capillary thermostat 15 amp,230V,100 w, 25 to 85 degree size 250x75x38 mm for LT& HT switch gear panel boards, a long lifesturdy aluminium sheathed heater and accurate thermostat. High voltage test at 2kv/1Min, insulation resistance > 10Mega Ohms, Power rating with in +/- 5%, thermostst calibration all as specified and as directed to conform in to IS-4165.

Supply and fix in repairs MCCB 4 pole, 415 volts adjustable type overload & short circuit setting including disconnecting the incoming/ outgoing cable connections and re-connecting with suitable aluminum lugs/ ferrules etc. after taking out the existing unserviceable and making good the disturbed surface for 100 Amps with breaking capacity 16 KA complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for servicing to indoor/outdoor LT panel board (approximate size 1500 mm x 2000 mm x 300 mm) opening up all cubical doors, cleaning with air blower, removing the burnt out unserviceable instruments, copper wiring kit, and burnt out unserviceable extented copper terminals/ copper cable and replacing with new copper extented terminal bus bar with suitable size along with required nut bolt, washers, and replacing the measuring instruments like Ammeter with existing size of the CT, Volt meter, indicating lamps of LED type 'R Y B' cleaning with CTC to serviceable parts like MCCB's, all terminals, replacement of damaged aluminium lugs any description of LT U/G cables in coming and out going, replacement of 3 mm thick sheet metal,replacement of deterioated copper wiring with suitable copper conductor with circuit indicator replacement of sheared rubber beadings to door of panels, including preparing the existing surface for spray painting to powder coated surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour, marking of incoming and out going feeder with fluorecent stickers incl preparation of the surface of panel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out ACB of Siemens make, of capacity 800A to 3200A Amps, 3pole , 415 volts,125 KA indoor type from its sub cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer maintenance manual, examine the moving isolating contacts for any discolouration, cluster contacts, remove the arc chutes, check the SMC moulding are intacts, examine the moving contacts main contacts silver tips, spring mechanism, clean all contacts with a suitable solvent and contacts regreased with multipurpose grease, all contacts setting checked, readjusted if required, and regreased with multipurpose grease, all tripping device like manual trip, under voltage, shunt trip release, over current and earth fault tripping device to be tested, readjusted and confirm all tripping device is in healthy condition, check and record IR value of ACB, with 1.1. KV LT megger calibrating ground fault / short ckt, overload relays for tripping & timing complete and rendering test report all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting all the electric connection and taking down old unserviceable Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) of any make/ description in any position from existing LT Panel and Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of new LT Air Circuit Breaker TPN, 440 Volts, 50 Hz of capacity 1250 Amps, manual draw out type, having over current and fault protection complete fixed to existing LT Panel with all fixing arrangement as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of the old deteriorated existing bottom,external and internal steel surfaces of feeder pillar boxes/ panels/ boards of any description and in any position including removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint either by hand scrapping or by blow lamps, applying necessary filler coat and stopping as required and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (grey in color) with using spray machine over a coat of red oxide primer on old prepared surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to include fixing of cable glands,cable lugs and for writing/marking the MES /SM No and other relevant details with paint in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Preparation of old painted steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade on exposed surfaces of LT panel boards including writing / marking feeders all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling of existing LT distribution panel and supply, fabricate, install, testing and commissioning of LT feeder panel board of suitable size, out door type double door, dust and vermin proof made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet mounting on MS angle iron 50x50x6 MM size , legs not less than 750 mm height, suitable foundation of 150 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C 2 with 100 mm offsets and panel board with front and back opening and locking arrangement compete two coats of finishing powder coated paint of approved shade over one coat of red oxide primer including oriental bus bar of aluminium strip 600 amps for three phase 4 wire including the following accessories and fitted in : -(a) Incoming: (i) MCCB high breaking capacity 4 pole 415 volt 25 KA breaking cap adjustable thermal release range 400 amp of Make:HPL/C&S/Schneider/L&T/ Indoasian/GE/Havells – 01 No (ii) Digital type Volt meter & amps meter with suitable capacity of CTs,LED indicator lamp and other connecting accessories (b) Outgoing: (i) MCCB AC high breaking capacity 3 pole 415 volt 16 KA breaking cap adjustable thermal release range 125 amp of Make: Schneider/L&T/ GE/Siemens – 4 Nos (ii) MCCB AC high breaking capacity 3 pole 415 volt 16 KA breaking cap adjustable thermal release range 100 amp of Make: Schneider/L&T/ GE/Siemens – 3 Nos(ii) MCB SPN 40 Amps 3 Nos all as directed by the Engr In Charge. Make of LT Panel: L&T/ABB/Dolar or CPRI approved.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 4.50 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.25 meter below ground level) connected to GI strip 32 mm x 6 mm main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 5 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board /panel etc. all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to equipment/substation/panel etc, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6 mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40 mm thick cover reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12 mm dia round MS bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 15 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 40 mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for testing of earthing carried out through earth resistance testing instrument after disconnecting both end of the earthing strip or wire for LT Panels/MDSS panel/ DSS panel report should be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge all as specified and directed.
