ALMIRAH LARGE AND MEDIUM STEEL (FD-67(M)/ 351/1031/ 1032) (a) Removal of unserviceable locks and provision of new 65mm size, 6 levers lock with duplicate keys of approved quality all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable handles and provision of new chromium plated handles 125mm long with suitable bolts and nuts as required all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Removal of unserviceable corner clips and provision of new corner clips made out of 3mm thick MS plate to shelf all as per drawing and duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(d) Removal of unserviceable cover and provision of new MS cover of size 230mm x 110mm x 40mm for 3 way locking device made out of 1.0 mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing and fixed with suitable screws duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(e) Removal of unserviceable worn out legs of Almirah large with shelves steel and provison of new MS legs of size 435mm x 70mm x 100 mm made out of 1.0 mm thick MS sheet all as per drawing duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and Legs fitted to almirah by continuous welding all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(f) All as per item No 1.05 above but almirah medium steel

(g) Removal of unserviceable shelf of Almirah large steel with shelves and replacing the same with new shelf made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 910mm long and 435 mm width duly applied two coats of olive green synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer . The shelf should be fixed to Almirah large steel with suitable 3mm MS Clips all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) Removal of unserviceable shelf of Almirah medium steel with shelves and replacing the same with new shelf made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 765mm long and 465 mm width duly applied two coats of olive green synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. The shelf should be fixed to Almirah medium steel with suitable 3mm MS clips all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(j) Continuous welding of legs, MS Cover and Corner clips of Almirah large and medium steel all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

LOCKER STEEL (FD-1029) Removal of unserviceable handles and provision of new chromium plated handles 100mm long to be fixed as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable hasp and staple and provision of new chromium plated hasp and staple 75 mm long to be fixed as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Removal of unserviceable shelf replacing the same with new shelf made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 530mm x 380 mm duly applied two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. The shelf, should be fixed to locker steel as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) Removal of unserviceable shutter and replacing the same with new shutter made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 936mm x 350 mm duly applied two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. The shutter should be fixed to locker steel all as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(e) Removal of unserviceable worn out legs of locker steel and provison of new MS legs of size 580mm x 80mm x 150 mm made out of 1.0 mm thick MS sheet all as per drawing duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and Legs fitted to locker steel by continuous welding all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(f) Continuous welding of legs, MS Shutter, Shelves of locker steel all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

TABLE OFFICE OFFICER STEEL/TABLE OFFICE CLERK STEEL (FD-84(M)/ 1003) (a) Replacement of old unserviceable locks of tables steel of sorts and Supply and fix with new locks of 04 levers brass of approved make with duplicate keys complete all as shwon on drawings & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable drawer of table office officer steel and provision of new drawer made of 1mm thick MS sheet duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with MS lock, 4 levers of approved quality all as per drawing and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(c) Removing of old unserviceable drawer from table office clerk and supply and fix new drawer made out of 1.0mm thick CR sheet made to shape as per drawings duly painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of prime complete all as shown on drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) Continuous welding 25mm square MS tube to the top base frame joints, leg joints and stiffener joints of table steel of sorts all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

STEEL TABLES (FD 165) Removing the old unserviceable table tops, supply and fix with new tops made out of 18/19 mm thick prelaminated particle board of approved make and shade duly providing 6mm thick teak wood beading complete all as specified in drawings and as directed for the following steel tables :- (a) Table dining OR

(b) Table office officer steel (FD-85 (M))

(c) Table office clerk steel of sorts (FD-1003)

(d) Table 900x600x760mm with/without drawers (FD-1007/ 1008)

(e) Table Computer (FD/E6/MAP/03)

(f) Table 900x900x760mm steel (FD-1009)

Removal of old unserviceable rubber shoe, supply and fix new hard rubber shoe of superior quality as approved and all as shown on drawings for steel tables of any type.

Chair Computer (FD/E6/MAP/01) (a) Removing the existing worn out cloth covering of seat and back of chair computer and replacing with new tapestry cloth/rexine and colour shall be as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

(b) Renewal of Hydraulic pressure systerm heavy duty 38mm dia.

(c) Renewal of pedestal Assembly (base with wheel), injection moulded in black, 30% glass filled nylon,10.5mm dia forged bright zinc plated MS castor pin, press fitted in to each prong for holding the castors of 600mm pitch centre dia.

(d) Renewal of handle (pair)

Chair Writing (FD/E6/MAP/12) (a) Removing the existing worn out cloth covering of seat and back of chair Writting and replacing with new tapestry cloth/rexine and colour shall be as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

(b) Renewal arm rest (pair)

Table Computer (FD/E6/MAP/03) (a) Removing the existing unserviceable telescopic channel with key board and replacing with new telescopic channel with key board tray of size 450x480mm and 18mm thick prelaminated particle board complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

(b)Removal of old unserviceable Nylon buffers, supply and fix new nylon buffers of superior quality as approved and all as shown on drawings for table Computer.

Charpoy rectangular pipe with plytop OR's /Bed Hard (FD/MAP-II/01, CWE/FD/77, FD/E6/MAP/08) (a) Removing the existing unserviceable plywood, supply and fix new 12mm thick commercial plywood with ISI Mark all as directed and shown on drawings.

(b) Charpoy folding IP with hard top : Removing the existing unserviceable plywood, supply and fix new 8mm thick commercial plywood with ISI Mark all as directed and shown on drawings.

CHARPOY GI Pipe 32mm with ply top : (FD 220) (a) Dismantling all members of GI charpoy carefully including removal of old ply wood top and segregating the serviceable and unserviceable members and stocking them at BSO(N) furniture yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Supply only GI pipe 32mm dia 'B' class for long rail 1880 mm length each and threading both ends as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(c) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia long rail and modifying into short rail and threading both ends as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia short rails and modifying into legs including threading as per drawings, providing new MS sheet 3mm thick 50mm dia made to shape and continuously welded to the bottom and MS Sheet piece applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as directed. Note : Each leg shall be measured separately.

(e) Supply only GI elbow 32mm dia medium grade 3 way suitable for GI pipe charpoy conforming to relevant IS with ISI mark all as spcified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(f) Supply only check nut 6mm dia suitable for 32mm dia GI pipe charpoy of weight not less than 100 gms each all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(g) Assembling the GI charpoy with serviceable members as retrieved vide Sl item No. 1.37 here-in-before and new modified / supply only members as obtained vide Sl item No. 1.38 to 1.42 here-in-before all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) Removing the existing unserviceable plywood, supply and fix new 12mm thick commercial plywood with ISI Mark all as directed and shown on drawings.

PAINTING TO STEEL FURNITURE Preparation of existing steel surfaces of internal and external surfaces including shelves by removing all dents filling with putty & spray painting using spray machine with one coat of synthetic enamel paint OG/smoke grey (internal & extrenal) as indicated in drgs & as directed for the following furniture :- (a) Almirah large steel with shelves/Almirah large steel 1/2 hg 1/2 shelves (FD-1031/ 1033)

12mm thick commercial plywood (7 ply) duly ISI marked of size 2000mm x 900mm over the GI charpoy all the four corners of the plywood should be shaped such that it should rest on all long and short rails of the charpoy, the plywood shall be fixed to the charpoy with 10 Nos of 6mmx75mm long bolt and nuts duly counter shunk on top with suitable washers (nut, bolts & washers will be galvanised iron) by making holes 3 each on each long rails and 2 each on each short rails all as directed. The quoted rate shall also include for the following arrangement of fixing:- (i) Taking down of existing old unserviceble nylon newar from charpoy GI pipe. (ii) Provision of 3 No of the flat iron 40 x 5mm thick duly welded to long rails at 150mm from each short rails and 01 flat iron at centre of the long rail such that the flat iron, long rails should be at same level. (iii) two coats of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide primer on flat iron and welded portions all as specified and as directed.
