SPECIAL REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROAD ALONGWITH ROAD FURNITURE AT UPPER AND LOWER LEIMAKHONG MIL STN

Material & Labour for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and n.exc 100 mm and removing unserviceable materials from site of work and stacking serviceable materials for reuse at site upto 50m distance complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam (WBM) with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size), using granite, trap or basalt stone, spread, rolled with smooth wheeled power roller 8 to 12 tonne and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

.-Ditto- all as per serial item No. 2.00 here-in- before but except material. Note- Material retrived from item No 1.00 to be reused after screening.

Material and labour for preparing water bound macadam top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for premix bituminous macadam, using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade @ 4% by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 2.50 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver finisher, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor. M/x-Design shall be approved by GE.

Material & Labour for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MoRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.
