Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and notexc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, for laying cables/pipes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth in hard/dense and getting out soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in hard/dense of soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking up or down CI/DI/MS water mains pipe 300 mm bore (including all fittings), with flanged/welded butt joint/ spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified.

Taking up or down CI/DI/MS water mains pipe 200 mm bore (including all fittings), with flanged/welded butt joint/ spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified.

Refixing MS/DI/CI pipe obtained from Item No. 04 above and connections in new or old position (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc., 300 mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Refixing MS/DI/CI pipe obtained from Item No. 05 above and connections in new or old position (Walls, ceiling, floors, etc., 200 mm bore, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing MS ERW pipe class 'B' of bore 300 mm having wall thickness 6 mm with permissible tolerance + 10% confirming to IS- 3589, ISI marked with minimum tensile strength of 410 mega pascals and steel grade of Fe-410 alongwith flanged joints including nuts, bolts, washers, flanges etc, laid in trenches/ along road/ on surface/ slopes/ pillars/ culverts/ causeways etc, complete all as specified by and directed. Note:- (i) Flanges to be provided at every 6m length or shorter length as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Flange will be welded to the pipe and gasket to be provided between two flanges and will be fixed with 12 Nos of nuts and bolts (M20 Type) at each jointing. Flanges will be of IS-6392 specifications. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connecting of flanges to pipe line by welding will be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. (ii) All standard fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate.

Contd Srl item No 08...... (iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid seperately. Make of MS fittings- ISI marked. (v) Any special fittings to be fabricated at site as per typical site condition will be measured and paid seprately. ( vi ) Welding of flanges to be done by trained personnels at site and included in the quoted rate for normal flange joints for nominal length of pipes . However if the welding of pipes ( other than normal flanged joint at nominal lenghth ) is required the same shall be measured and paid separately .

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32x6 mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate No 3 of MES Part-I, including testing on completion including the material and labour and taking out old unserviceable earthing of the following :- (a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil. (e) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 7.5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (g) Testing of earthing. Note : On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for XLPE insulated , armored heavy duty electric cable with aluminum conductor , 1100 volts grade , cross - sectional area 95 Sqmm 3.5 core . Complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in Charge

Dry coarse sand as cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of 8 cms deep before laying the cable and 15 cms deep after laying and stretching the cable, punned to 18 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE Only punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

Supply and lay PCC cable cover class LV type 2 flat size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete all Each as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge .

M & L for PVC insulated copper cable 1100 Volts grade of size 95 Sqmm single core to connect from starter to motor , complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Surface excavation not exc. 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 M deep and getting out in hard rock complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Description all as per srl item No 34 above but exceeding depth 1.5 m and not exceeding 3.0m, complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Drilling hole in hard rock for bolts, pipes, TMT bars etc exc. 25 mm but n exc 60mm dia and depth 60 cm complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

RCC M-30 (design mix), using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beam; plinth beams; bases of columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Design/Sectional detail of RCC structure shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge as per ground requirement.

RCC M-30 (design mix), using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Design/Sectional detail of RCC structure shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge as per ground requirement.

RCC M-25 (design mix), using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Design/Sectional detail of RCC structure shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge as per ground requirement.

Use and waste of formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter, to obtain rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engr - in - Charge.

TMT mild steel bars, 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders and binding with and includingMS wire (annealed not less than 0.9mm dia) , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F for compound girders and stanchions, lattice griders, aserial masts, and the like including caps, bases, splices, base plates railing etc. Built up from two or more beam or channel sections or angles with plates all lattic bars, stiffeners confirming to Fe-410 W (Gde E-250 quality A). Note: Rates are included for welding, fabrication, formwork for steel grider, diverting of river stream by using sand bag etc and all type of T&P (light and heavy machinery) used during the construction of complete grider frame, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Mild steel rag or lewis bolts, screwed one end, with hexagonal or square nuts and washers, the other end enlarged and jagged or lewised, exc 30cm long and dia of neck is 25 mm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Preparation of new steel surfaces exceeding 10 cms width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of red oxide chrome primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
