Civil Works :
PHASE -l- Safe load carrying capacity test. In this phase, carrying out the existing safe load carryin capacity of the Diu-Ghoghla bridge by load testing using moving vehicle for class -A and above load. (Drawing of Front Elevation and Cross Section of Bridge are enclosed)
PHASE -ll- Checking of bridge structures. In this phase, checking & investigation, will be carried out with objective of implementing repairs and rehabilitation if any, to ensure bridge will continue to have ability to carry original design load. a) Checking of protective work. b) Checking of Waterway. c) Checking of foundation. d) Checking of sub-structure. e) Checking of all bearings. f) Checking of superstructure g) Checking of expansion joints h) Checking of wearing cost. i) Checking of drainage/water spout j) Checking of parapets. k) Checking of utilities.
PHASE-lll- Testing and Investigation. In this phase, following tests and investigation, will be carried out with objective of implementing repairs and rehabilitation if any, to ensure bridge will continue to have ability to carry original design load a) Non-Destructive tests as per IRC (SP-35) Appendix-8 1) Rebound and penetration tests. 2) Sonic methods. 3) Ultrasonic techniques. 4) Magnetic methods. 5) Electrical methods. 6) Nuclear methods. 7) Radiography. 8) X-Ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis of concrete samples. 9) Electrochemical potentials. 10) Electrical resistivity management. 11) Microscopic examination using optical and polarised light microscopy. 12) Dye penetration test and optical microscopy. 13) Deflection monitoring. 14) Strain measurements. 15) Crack meters.
PHASE-lll- Testing and Investigation. In this phase, following tests and investigation, will be carried out with objective of implementing repairs and rehabilitation if any, to ensure bridge will continue to have ability to carry original design load. b) Destructive tests as per IRC (SP-35) Appendix-8 1) Concrete strength. 2) Carbonation. 3) Endorscope. 4) Pull out test. 5) Pull off test. 6) Internal fracture test. 7) Break off test. 8) Water penetration test. 9) Rapid chloride test and Rapid sulphate test. 10) Analysis of hardened concrete. 11) Optical microscopy and expansion test on concrete cores. Based on the result of the above tests of Phase - II & III, the detailed report along with detailed and rehabilitation scheme will be prepared and submitted to the department.
To provide detailed bill of quantity for the repairing & rehabilitation scheme, if any required and tender documents for execution of the same
To provide corrective supervision during the progress of work
To issue completion certificate & structural stability certificate
