Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Performance Bank guarantee towards security deposit of 5% of bidder amount to be given within 20 days after issue of letter of acceptance as per PWD Tender Clause. If the successful bid amount is less than tender amount, the difference in cost to be paid by the bidder before issue of work order.

KS&DL reserves all the rights to cancel / reject any / all tender without offering any explanation to anyone.

No additional conditions in technical bid to be inserted by the tenderer

Tenderers shall quote their rates exclusive of GST. GST of 18% shall be paid to the tendered amount separately.

The work should be completed as per standard specification and within the time mentioned in work order

Tenderer must upload site inspection report obtained from Civil Department. Tenderer should collect site inspection report on 25-05-2024 from Civil Department , KSDL with in office hours.

In the case of the death of a contractor after executing the agreement/ commencement of the work, his legal heir, if an eligible registered contractor, and willing can execute and complete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work.

Previous work done certificate with any other Government or Government undertaking institution at least one similar nature of work of value not less than Rs. 9.50 Lakhs.
