M&L Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches in soft/ disintegrated rock n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10sq m on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance of outside MoD and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in soft/ disintegrated rock including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soils, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Hardcore Broken stone/boulders of gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Anti-termite treatment to bottom and sides of excavation by applying chemical emulsion at the rate of 5.0 litres per square metre of surface area using approved anti-termite chemical such as Chlorpyrifos 20% EC or equivalent, diluted in water to achieve 1% concentration as per IS:6313 (Part-II), applied uniformly over the entire surface including bottom and vertical sides of excavation by spraying or rodding method to ensure proper penetration into soil, including preparation of solution, application with suitable equipment and all labour, materials and tools required to complete the treatment effectively, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 40mm thick Damp proof course mix with liquid water proofing compound @ 200ml of 50kg of cement, to horizontal or vertical surface including necessary formwok in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate and applying evenly a coat of blown type bitumen at the rate of 1.50kg per square meter and blinding with clean dry sand @0.05cu.m. per sqm all as specified and directed. (Note:-LWP shall be measured and paid seperately).

Use of Formwork to sides (in rough finished concrete but flat surface) of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L reinforced cement concrete type B-1 1:2:4 (20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Mild steel bars TMT 10mm and over dia and over,cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips quality conforming to, complete all as specified and directed.
