Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government. A recovery of useful stone for 452.84 cubic meter @ 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per cubic meter shall be done on prorata basis for each running bill for this item.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of all type of bridge structure in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/ wedging out of Hard rock (blasting prohibited) by mechnical means and as per drawing and technical specification including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling with approved material pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) up to any depth and any quantum including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excvation of other road structures or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm ( two hundred millimeters) spreading to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 KN static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirements of table 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD specifications to lines, grades, level and cross sections as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-charge including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water wherever required including hauling of materials for construction of embankment within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tools and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects. The parapet to be constructed on retaining wall , edge wall and toe wall of CDs to be measured and paid for seprately including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
