Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation for poles, stay, laying cables etc and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and directed .

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and exc 1.5 m but not exc 3 mtr in depth in hard/dense soil for fixing of steel tubular pole/stay pit complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm thick each layer, in hard/dense soil all as specified and directed .

Removing excavated material n.exc 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 meter above the starting point all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sand cushioning for under ground cables provided with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth after laying the cable, then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top upper most cable, complete all as specified and directed. Note. Only 18 cm punned down depth of sand will be measured and paid.

Supply and laying dry bricks, old size with sub class ‘B’ bricks, made of burnt clay best quality locally available with permissible tolerance, laid in trench for protection of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for poles / stays foundation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 with 20 mm graded stone aggegate for pole coping & road crossing including form work and finishing to all exposed surfaces by using extra cement all as specified directed.

Supply and stringing ACSR conductor in replacement of any size in accrodance with site requirement and binding on insulators by means of aluminium binding wire, tapes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement galvanised steel wire 4 mm dia for guard wire, continuous earth wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified & directed.

M&L in replacement pin type, porcelain vitreous, white, brown or green insulator incl one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut 100 mm height 65mm dia for 1100 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement shackle type porecelain vitreous white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1100 volts of 90mm dia and 75mm height incl galvanised steel straps of 31x3 mm size insulator and 12 mm dia bolt,washer & nuts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement stay assembly for electric pole complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part -I and drg using loop type insulator, stay clamps, stay rod of 16mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation & PCC will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Removing and dismentalling old U/S over head line conductor ACSR of any size ( 2/4 line ) and then cleaning and restringing in original position incl binding with new aluminium conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The rate quoted are inclusive of cutting/ removing all tree branches/vegetation around 3 mtr of distance from the pole. (b) Length of span is approx 30 mtrs with 02 run of conductor. (c) Adjusting & tightning of stay assembly shall be done wherever required.

S&F in replacement synthetic line separators of LT OH lines with nut,bolts & washers straight type horizontal configuration fixed at a point as directed and suitable for single phase 2 wire LT lines complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing old painted surfaces of steel tubular swaged poles (9 to 11 meter long) with swan neck brackets including junction box and material & labour for painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including ZEBRA painting with 02 coat of black & white colour synthetic enemal paint in alternate strip to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC coping and marking pole numbers with one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) PCC coping shall be painted with two coat of cement based paint of white colour. (ii) Marking of pole No. shall be with black colour on yellow circled surface of minimum 150 mm dia.

Supply and laying in replacement GI pipe light grade galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches under road or fixed to wall as cable protection of 40 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and laying in replacement GI pipe medium grade galvanized with all fittings laid in trenches under road or fixed to wall as cable protection of 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

NOTE: The earth work, GI Pipe shall be measured and paid seperatly under appropriate item of Schedule 'A' / BOQ.

S & F in replacement Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified, type 410 SP-31 (9 metres long) erected truly vertical and planted complete , poles made out of MS tubing conforming to IS -2713 (Part - I to III 1980), Poles to be painted with two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally and externally upto the planting depth and remaining external portion to be painted with two coats of weather proof paint over a coat of red oxide primer and , dimensions of the poles to be provided as speicified in SSR - I Para 19.3.3 and 40 mm dia GI pipe to be provided at top of the pole for fixing the street lights complete all as specified and directed NOTE:- (i) Excavation and PCC work shall be measured and paid separetaly. (ii) PCC coping shall be painted with two coat of cement based paint of white colour . (iii) Marking of pole No. shall be with black colour on yellow circled surface of minimum 150 mm dia.

S & F in replacement Bus bar chamber box in sheet metal enclosure 100 Amps capacity, 4 way, 415 V complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour in repair earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate. Connected by 32x6 mm GI strip as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt, thimbles, check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mmx300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4) funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size in (1:2:4) Type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate ) reinforced with XPM all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1 (2009) and specified including and provision of GI strip upto 7.5 mtrs long with 40 mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all excavation and earth work and connecting the earthling strip to panel, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighting not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover. (ii) Cost of additional GI strip more than 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply and Fix in replacment of terminal box made out of PVC with hinged door and locking arrangements of size 240x130x95 mm including four way connector, fixed on pole with necessary clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying inreplacement synthetic Rubber insulated mats 2 mm thick for voltage upto 3.3 kv for electrical purpose as per IS 15652-2006, (superseding IS 5424) suitable for electrical shock safety of sizes 2m x 1m complete all as specified and directed.

Net Contract Sum will be after deducting Sch Of Credit of Rs. 1,56,926.00
