Maint/Servicing of DG Sets installed at various E/M installations at Faridkot Mil Stn

Comprehensive maintenance of DG sets for routine/preventive maintenance checks at least once in a month, checking up of engine and alternator for trouble free functioning and attending break downs/ complaints as and when required for smooth functioning. The comprehensive maintenance includes the following works:- (i)Cleaning of air filter (ii) Checking and adjusting the valve tappet clearance (iii) Checking of Engine lubrication system, fuel system, air system, cooling system, mechanical adjustments/rectification and electrical system (iv) cleaning of fuel pre and fine filter (v) Checking and tightening of bolts and nuts (vi) Checking of flexible rubber coupling (vii) Checking of charging system of the battery (viii)Checking of ‘V’ belt and adjusting the tension (ix) Checking of exhaust turbo charger (x) Checking of fuel injector (xi) Checking and cleaning of breather pipe (xii) Checking of alternator terminals and cable lighteners etc (xiii) Checking of proper functioning of self starter and battery charging . The capacity and location of DG sets for which comprehensive maintance to be carried over are as under:-

2 x 200 KVA capacity DG sets installed at Clear water pump house.

2x 125 KVA capacity DG sets installed each at W/S No -2 & 173 MH.

1x 100 KVA capacity DG set installed at STP No -2.

5 x 63 KVA capacity DG sets installed each at FASF, GE Office, Signal, MH & WS No. 1.

1 x 50 KVA capacity DG set installed at STP No -1.

1 x 40 KVA capacity DG set installed at 350KLD STP near 75 Med Regt.

2 x 15 KVA capacity DG set installed each at MAP Pump house & IPS No -3.

3x10 KVA capacity DG set installed each at IPS near 75 Med Regt, IPS near 102 Med Regt & 101 Med Regt KSP. Notes for Ser item No 1.01 to 1.08 :- 1. Contractor's has to attend the breakdown at any time during the contract period through skilled mechanic. 2. The quoted rate deemed to include all the minor spares such as screws, clips washers, distilled water, electrolyte etc

S&F Fuel filter element (Primary & secondary) of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed

S&F Lube oil filter element of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed .

S&F Air filter element (Inner and outer) of existing specification of DG set of any type/capacity complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for radiator anticorrosive coolant conditioner properly mixed up with the radiator water as per manufacturer's recommendations complete all as specified and directed . Note : RV shall be prepared for supply,consumption duly verified by audit.

Supply and filling engine oil 20W - 40 complete all as specified and directed . Note : RV shall be prepared for supply,consumption duly verified by audit.

Comprehensive maintenance of lead acid battery 6V/12V 90 AH - 130 AH including replacement of unserviceable spare parts i.e plate, stud, cell, elecrolite & distill water etc complete all as specified and directed .

All as per Srl item No. 16 here-in-before but battery of 150 AH - 180 AH.

M&L for painting of complete DG set of capacity 200/125/100 KVA with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour with spray gun complete all as specified and directed

M&L for painting of complete DG set of capacity 63/50/40/15/10 KVA with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour with spray gun complete all as specified and directed

Repair/Replacement of Canopy door hinges complete all as specified and directed .

S&F canopy door glass suitable for 15/20/50/100/200 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed

Servicing of battery charging alternator, 12 volts, DC including replacement of armature, shaft bush, carbon brush, bearing and electronic cut out, rectifier etc and testing complete all as specified and directed .

Dismantaling, servicing ,cleaning & decarbonising of exhaust silencer assembly of DG set of any capacity complete all as specified and directed .

Servicing,calibration and testing of Fuel injector assembly of DG set of any capacity including replacement of worn out parts barrels, plungers cups injector and commissining the same complete all as specified and directed .

Servicing, repair and testing of self starter 12 volts including replacement of defective armature, bendex pinion, clutch plate, carbon brushes, solenoid switch etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F oil temparature guage of DG set of any capacity complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement on load change over switch, four pole, 63 Amps, stainless steel enclosure complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of on load change over switch, four pole, 200Amps, stainless steel enclosure complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of on load change over switch, four pole, 160Amps, stainless steel enclosure complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for taking out old burnt winding and rewinding of main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of DG set of capacity 200/125 KVA with super enamelled copper wire of existing gauge and specification including lumex paper, glass wire,varnishing,dried up and rectifying any other minor defect of alternator complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for taking out old burnt winding and rewinding of main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of DG set of capacity 100/70/63 KVA with super enamelled copper wire of existing gauge and specification including lumex paper, glass wire,varnishing,dried up and rectifying any other minor defect of alternator complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for taking out old burnt winding and rewinding of main field coil, rotor, exicitor coil, armature of DG set of capacity 50/40/20/15/10 KVA with super enamelled copper wire of existing gauge and specification including lumex paper, glass wire,varnishing,dried up and rectifying any other minor defect of alternator complete all as specified and directed . Note :- A Sum of Rs. 93,576.00 will be deducted on account of credit for dismantling/demolished/taking down material. Please refer detail on srl page No 20 (Schedule of credit) of Tender Documents.
