TENDER FOR CONDUCTING GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION WORKS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF 2ND CONTAINER TERMINAL, BULK TERMINALS, MULTI CARGO TERMINAL-II AND GENERAL CARGO BERTH-III AREAS AT KAMARAJAR PORT

Mobilisation and demobilisation of all the rotary drilling equipments/plant at site required for the execution of the detailed soil investigation works for the proposed Development of 2nd Container Terminal, Bulk Terminals, Multi Cargo Terminal-II and General Cargo Berth-III areas at Kamarajar Port, set up site organisation including the costs of staff and labour and all other services. Shifting of all the drilling equipments, men and materials from one borehole location to another location of each borehole including accurate positioning, erection/ dismantling of rig and hire of boat, if necessary etc.

Boring 150 mm dia, 40 Nos of borehole including conducting SPTS, in-situ VSTS, collection of DS & UDS as specified through gravel, sand, silt, clay and all soils other than boulders or rock to a depth below bed level as follows

Double barrel Rotary core drilling (NX size) though weathered and hard rock or boulders in boreholes as specified and collection of core samples in core boxes.

Collection of water samples from boreholes for chemical analysis.
