Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soil, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and side of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres. (HSR 6.6)

Cement concrete 1:6:12 with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth [HSR 10.32]

Cement concrete 1:4:8 with brick ballast 40 mm nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.36)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:5 in foundation and plinth [HSR 11.3]

First class brick laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in foundation and plinth.(HSR 11.4)

Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in footing, strips, foundation, rafts, pedestal and approach slabs of bridges etc. but excluding steel reinforcement and including centring and shuttering, laid in position, complete in all respects. (for work upto 1.5 Mtrs. below ground level). [HSR. 10.90 + 10.95 (a)].

Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work for walls exceeding 20 cm thickness (Straight and curved) beams, girders, stairs, columns, (square or rectangular) battens and lintels etc. excluding steel reinforcement but including centring and shuttering, laid in position complete in all respects. [HSR. 10.86 + 10.95 (a)].

Cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size for reinforced concrete work in fasicas, parapets and other thin vertical sections, not covered by item no. 10.82, 10.86 to 10.88 not exceeding 10 cm thickness excluding steel reinforcement but including centring and shuttering, laid in position, complete in all respects. [HSR. 10.89 + 10.95 (a)].

Providing drainage spouts complete as per drawing and Technical specifications as per Clause 2705 of MORT&H specification ( MORT&H No. 14.9).

Providing and laying filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause No. 2504.2.2 of MoRT&H specification-2013 and Clause No. 710.1.4 of IRC-78 to the thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, to the full height compacted to the firm condition complete in all respect as per drawing and technical specifications.

Cement pointing 1:2 deep variety on brick and tile work [HSR 15.60]

Providing and fixing weep holes in brick masonry / plain/ reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall/retaining wall etc. with 100mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V: 20H towards drain-ray face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specification as per clause No. 2706 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge works (5th revision )/ Latest edition

Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR / FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights / depths / storeys / basements etc. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps, Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked, antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects.Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.
