Using Screening type-B (11.2 mm aggregate) Gravel

Providing and filling potholes with Bituminous Macadam produced in a Mobile Hot Mix Plant (capacity 6–10 TPH) using approved crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder at the rate of 3.4% by weight of the total mix. The mix shall be transported to the work site and laid in potholes that have been prepared beforehand by cutting the edges to obtain firm vertical faces and removing all failed, loose, and dusty materials. The prepared surfaces and sides of the potholes shall be treated with tack coat (to be measured and paid separately) before placement of the bituminous mix. The material shall then be properly spread, levelled, and compacted by rolling with an 8–10 tonne smooth-wheeled roller to achieve the specified density and desired compaction, in accordance with relevant specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include the cost of supplying and transporting stone aggregates and bitumen, operation of the mobile hot mix plant, hire charges of all machinery and equipment, fuel and lubricants, labour and supervision, quality control, and all incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the work, excluding the cost of tack coat. Measurement for payment shall be based on the loose net volume of stone aggregates incorporated in the work. Griading -2 ( For compacted thickness of upto 75 mm)

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix surfacing of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mmto 5.6mm aggregates either using viscosity grade bitumen of approved grade to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled tandemor other approved type roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level andgrades(ReferencetoMORT&H's specification clause 510).
