Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge

Demolition of cement Concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings exc 15 cm thickness (above ground level) and removal of debris out side MoD land all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge

Demolition of Stone slabs and tiles laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out hard/dense soil all specified and directed.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as specified.

Removing excavated material to a distance exc 250 m but n exc 500 m and depositing where directed outside MOD land. Note: It is responsibility of the contractor to get permission from Local Authorities for site of disposal of material.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out in soft / loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm,

M&L for Cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete type D2 (1:4:8) in foundations of bed of drains, filling and mass concrete all specified and directed.

M&L for Hardcore of broken stone of gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge

M&L for 100mm thick Cement concrete type B- 2, 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) as in sub base to pavement.

M&L for 50mm thick Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation all as directed.

M&L for laying of Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade fixed with with grey cement and pigment

Labour only for laying of Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 Grade fixed with with grey cement and pigment, blocks retrieved from demolition as per relevant Item above

M&L for laying of Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade fixed with with grey cement and pigment retrieved from demolition as per Item above

M&L for Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade A complete

Providing and laying at or near ground level, factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

M&L for Walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted as built in Cement mortar 1:4. Note: Where ever repair of drain is required, the rate quoted against Item No: 21 to 30 shall deemed to include for cleaning of covered / open drain of any size and depth, includes for removing the debris/soil away from MoD land. Where ever repair of drain is ordered to be carried out, contractor shall clean the drain before hand to carry out repiars. This extra cost in cleaning shall deemed to be included in Item No: 21 to 30. Contractor to quote accordingly.

Labour only for Walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted as built in Cement mortar 1:4, stones retrieved from relevant item above.

M&L for Keyed pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto course in Cement mortat 1:4

M&L for Providing, cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) in copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls built in cement or cement lime mortar, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry type C-1, 1:3:6 (20mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:4 with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar, complete

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in Cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement)

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wall and priming with one coat of Chalk whiting, on plastered surfaces, preparatory to distempering and applying two coats of cement paint

M&L for Providing precast cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:4 in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces

M&L for TMT bars Fe 500 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including cranking hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire annealed not less than 0.9mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of existing covered drains of any width and depth by removing existing cover slabs and relaying of cover slabs after clearing the drains of debris, soil, removal of blockages and removal of the debris/soil outside MoD land. The cost of conveyance of the debris/soil shall include for the cost coated.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for

M&L for Rolled mild steel grade Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250) quality- B in Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated)

M&L for Mild steel Fe-410-W (Gde- E-250) quality-B in flat, round or square bars, in available lengths

M&L for preparation of new Surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described and applying one coat of Zinc chrome red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered surfaces by completely removing existing treatment of walls, chajjas, parapets by removing all fungus,dirt and loose materials,filling with crack sealing compound of approved make and applying two coat of acrylic exterior paint over a coat of exterior grade primer (Brand Apcolite apex manufactured by Asian paint or equivalent) as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable to tiles to store and rubbish off the premises

M&L Virified Ceramic tiles light shade 10 mm thick (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 15 mm thick screed bed in Cm 1.6 in for laying floor finishes all specified and directed.

M&L Virified Ceramic tiles light shade 10 mm thick as in skiriting (square/rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 10 mm thick backing coat 1:3 all specified and directed.
