Augmentation of Internal electrical wirings in Labs / Workshop, Faculty rooms and corridors in various Academic buildings inside IITM Campus

General Note: 1) This work is specially created for smooth execution of Low side HVAC installation in each and every room of the building. The work is spread over about 10-12 buildings which are fully occupied. 2) The laborers and workers should be instructed to carry out the work very carefuuly without any hindrance/damage to the existing equipment, furnitures etc., 3) The labourers and workers shall be made available as per the work schedule of HVAC contractor. The HVAC team will commence the work from 9 AM on every day and they will work up to 12 midnight and thereafter. During the HVAc work progress, the tenderer shall quote the rate taking into account of posting the required labourers during day time and night time.

WIRING AND CONNECTED ACCESSORIES

Wiring for circuit/submain wiring along with earth wire with the following sizes of FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in a surface /recessed medium class PVC conduit as required

Removing of existing wirings from wall and relaying the same in the existing CMS ( without Pipe) or cable tray ( with existing PVC pipe) with necessary tags and end terminations. The contractor has to engage separate & dedicated manpower for this work

Supplying of 1mt fan down rod with necessary 3core flxible copper wire between fan and the ceiling rose.

Supplying and fixing of wooden /PVC round Block with Ball on Socket on ceiling with necessary fixing accessories

Supplying of 1mt steel conduit / down rod with necessary 3core flxible copper wire between light fitting and ceiling rose.

Supplying and fan hook with anchor fationer .

Supplying and fixing of MK premium base & lid of NCT 1050 type cable management system with required specials and accessories including end caps, flexible internal/external corners flat angles,Flat tee, joint cover wherever necessary with cable divider, required type of modular box etc as per the site requirements

DISTRIBUTION BOARDS

Supply Installation, Testing and Commissioning of the distribution boards in open/ recessed in wall as instructed by the Engineer Incharge. The work also involves removing the existing DB & PVC pipes concealed both of them in wall including wiring after completion of plastering and other all civil works.

Double door type 8 Way ( 2+8 way) SPN MCB DB comprising 32A DP 10kA MCB - 1 No as incomer and 6-20A SP 10kA MCB - 8 Nos as outgoing.

Double door type 6 Way TPN Compartmental Horizontal ( 7 Segment Phase Segregation ) MCB DB comprising 63A 4P 10kA MCB - 1 No as incomer 63A DP MCB 10kA -3 nos, 10 to 32A 10kA SP MCB-18 Nos as outgoings.

The double door type 8 Way TPN Vertical MCCB DB comprising of the following 125A 4P 25kA with TMP MCCB -1 No as incomer 6-32A TP MCB 10kA -4 Nos and 6-32A SP MCB 10kA -12 Nos as outgoings.

Supplying and fixing of the following Tap off box/ plug in box in the existing BBT with necessary end and earth connections

Plug in Box with 4P 25kA 63A TMP MCCB with Rotary Handle and Spreader Links.

Plug in Box with 4P 25 kA 125A TMP MCCB with Rotary Handle and Spreader Links

Shifting of existing BBT ( up to 250A Air insulated)and re-erected with L angle , Fastners ,Thread rods and all required accessories as instructed by the Engineer inCharge

CABLE TRAYS

Supply Installation of following size of perforated painted with powder coating MS cable trays with bend ,Tee etc with perforation not more than 17.5%, in convenient sections , joined with connectors, suspended from the ceing or wall with supplying of accessories like MS supports ,thread rods with painting including necessary civil works , bolts &nuts etc as required

LED LIGHT FITTINGS & BLDC FANS

Supply of 36W X 1200mm Batten Type LED light fittings with all acessories .

Supply of 28W X 1200mm Batten Type LED light fittings with all acessories .

Supply of 24W X 1200mm Batten Type LED light fittings with all acessories .

Supply of 36 W x 1200mm Trend LED light fittings with all acessories . ( Model No: CCP- 143-24-57-SL-NWH or equivalent from approved makes)

Supply of 24W x 1200mm Trend LED light fittings with all acessories . ( Model No: CCP- 143-24-57-SL-NWH or equivalent from approved makes)

Supplying of 1200mm Sweep BLDC Ceiling fan with all acessories

MAN POWER

Labour charges for removing and relaying of PVC conduits/ casing capping /CMS including wiring and removing of Light fittings, Ceiling fans and other electrical acessories in various buildings at Academic zone. The charges for the labours should be inclusive of all consumables like insulation tape, screws etc., and also re fixing of new/ old light fittings and new/ old ceiling fans. The No of Electrician (4persons) and Helper ( 6 Persons) - 8 persons per day should be deployed for the above work .
