Design,engineering,supply,construction,erection and commissioning of 400 KLD sewage treatment plant including Tertiary treatment and disinfection complete in all respect with all contigent civil,elctrical,mechanical,piping and instrumentation works based on MBBR technology for treating complete waste generated at building from toilets,kitchens etc to provide treated effluent quality as specified below.The contractor will be required to submit the detail process chart along with the technical details of equipmens and description of Civil works component of STP duly vetted by IIT/NIT institute.The Quality of inlet effluent and required water quality after treatment are tabulated below:- (a) The Inlet sewage will generally have following characterisitics: PH 6.0-8.5 BOD 200-300 Mg/l COD 350-450 Mg/L TSS 250-300 Mg/l Oil and Grease 20-30 Mg/l E-Coli 105-106 MPN /100 Ml

Treatment Units: Following are the main units involved in sewage treatment (As reference only) CIVIL WORKS: (a) Bar Screen cum grit chamber for the incoming sewage.(INLET CHAMBER) (b) RCC M-30 fine screen chamber of required size having gate (1 W + 1 S) (c) One number Manual and one number automatic mechanical type tube fitted in fine screen chamber (1 W + 1 S) (d) RCC M-30 horizontal grit removal of average 400 KLD peak factor 04 with flow measurement arrangement (e) One no RCC M-30 raw sewage collection sump cum pump house of average flow 400 KLD of peak factor 04 covered with RCC roof with 50% open platform for pump maintenance girder with chain pulley block and covered with MS square bar and angle iron ladder/staircase for stepping. (f) RCC M-30 Oil and grease trap with baffles including MS manhole cover. (g) RCC M-30 primary sedimentation tank of average floow 400 KLD of peak factor 04. (h) RCC M-30 Main equilasation tank for collection of total effluent including effluent waste,housing of pumps,provision of aeration shall be kept to avoid any smell problems. (i) Non clogging Submersible pump/non submersible raw sewage feed pump suitable for cutting all types mtrls i.e. plastic, spoiled clothes etc coming with raw sewer to avoid any further Chocking of pumps sewage feed pump - 03 Nos (2 W + 1 S) with header pipes,instrumentation,valves etc. (j) RCC M-30 Anoxic chamber for 400 KLD STP capacity. (k) RCC M-30 Moving Bed Reactor with MBBR media. (l) Required bubble air grid - 02 Nos MBBR tanks with diffuser alongwith air blower(2W+1S) of required capacity,configuration and infrastructure.

(n) One number RCC M-30 floculator tank for 400 KLD (o) One number settling tank RCC M-30 with tube settler for 400 KLD flow rate. (p) One chlorine dosing ystem with three Nos (2 W + 1 S) dozing pump of suitable capacity,Chlorine contact of suitable size for 400 KlD tank. (q) One number RCC M-30 filter pump of suitable size including level switch (High & low) alarm system. Note: (i) Necessary pipes,valves of suitable size for connection / control of various equipments / tank like header screen chamber,sedimentation tank and equilisation tanks,MBBR,floculator,tube settler,Chlorine tank,various pumps,overflow line,back wash line etc. (ii) Design drawing of complete sewage treatment plant including foundaion details,showing the dimensions,ratingto be made available keeping in view the actual ground/site requirement and same is to be got vetted from IIT/NIT and be got approved by accepting officer through GE/CWE/CE before placing final order to the Manufacturer.

ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL EQUPMENTS : (a) Drain pit sump pumps : Two numbers (1 W + 1S) fully submersible pumps in the sump including lifting arrangement piping,valves,cables,level controllers etc. (b) Sewage transfer pumps (Equilaisation Tank) : Three Nos (2 W+ 1S) fully submersible pumps in collection pit including its lifting arrangement piping,valves,level controllers,cables etc. (c) Filter feed pump : Two number (1 W+ 1 S) filter feed pumps with induction motor of required capacity with instrumentation piping,connections,valves,cables and other accessories from STP to filteration units and treated water tank. (d) Sludge transfer pumps : Two numbers (1 W + 1 S) sludge lifting pump with suitable rating motor to sludge from instatnaneous sludge storage tank to sludge holding tank with piping,instrumentation,valves,cables and other accessories with extra pipes of suitable size to unload the sludge into a tanker.
Item No. 3.00 Contd… (e) Air Dispersion system : Two numbers twin rotatory air blower of suitable HP,provision of bubble diffuser,Non clog type air dispersion system capable of handling desired CFM of air,air dispersion system shall be provided for raw sewage equilaisation tank,sludge holding tank and MBBR reactors. (e) Multi grade sand filter : Provision of MS vertical pressure sand filetr with MS fronatl piping including valves to provide back wash and rinsing operation complete with initial charge of filter media including antharacite and Bio glass media. (g) Activated carbon filter : Provision of vertical ACF complete with initial charge of filter media , MS fronatal piping,Valve,rinse and backwash arrangement and other acessories. (h) Micro filteration System : Provision of MF system with piping,valves and all other accessories complete with FEED pump (1 W +1 S),back wash pump (1 W+ 1 S) etc with instrumentation for automation having PLC based electrical panel with cabling. (i) Sludge handling system : Provision of filter press with hydraulic arrangement and all accessories for sludge handling system for STP of capacity 400 KLD. (j) Flow Meter : Provision of two numbers micro processor based electro magnetic flow meter with bidirectional flow measurement.Provision of one number digital type PH meter and one number Turbudity meter complete . Fine bar screen chamber of size 3.00mx0.35mx0.30m fitted with screen of MS epoxy construction as per given minimum specifications, to be installed in Fine Bar screen chambers, provided at an angle of 60° to prevent floating objects passing through it and subsequently removing manually and dumped for further disposal. (2) One no. Oil & Grease Removal Chamber in RCC construction with design mix concrete of grade M-30 of size 2.6mx3.0mx0.60m, for removal of free floating Oil & Grease in the sewage, as per given specifications. (3) One no. Equalization tank in RCC construction with design mix concrete of grade M-30 of size 5.80 m x 5.80 m x 2.0m , as per given specifications, to cater for the peak discharge including provision of diffused air to ensure that septic conditions do not occur in tank at all. One lot of air grid having 35M3/hr air discharge for equalization tank for providing aeration in the tank, as specified in PS. (4) Two nos. raw sewage pumps 3 phase 8.33 Cum/hr 14m head 5HP capacity complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings, to be installed for transferring sewage from equalization tank to process reactor. Level sensor should be provided in the tank and interlinked with pumps for ON-OFF operation as per water level in the tank.One pressure gauge for each pump has to be provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (5) One lot of MS epoxy anoxic chamber of size 2.60 m x 0.85 m x 3.70 m with internals fitted with MSEP Mixer, as required.

Air blower Positive displacement, root type, twin lobe of capacity 300 /5 Cum/hr/ head 3 Phase 8 HP complete with motor and all necessary accessories & fittings, for providing air in equalization tank, MBBR reactors & Sludge holding tank. One no. Air rotameter is to be provided in each line to MBBR reactor 1 & 2, EQT & SHT for measurement of quantity of air. (8) Two nos. sewage recirculation centrifugal monobloc self-priming recirculation pumps 3 Phase 2.50 Cum/Hr 8m head 2HP capacity complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings made out of Cast Iron . One pressure gauge for each pump is provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (9) One No. of Tube settler tank of MS Epoxy of size 2.60 m x 1.70 m x 2.10 m with internals comprising of media, supporting structure & collection trough. (10) Two nos sludge transfer pump sewage centrifugal monobloc self-priming pumps 3 phase 5.5 Cum/Hr 8m head 3HP for slurry transfer from Tube settler to Sludge holding tank complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings for 200 KLD STP only. One pressure gauge for each pump is provided to measure pressure at the outlet. (11) One no. Chlorine Contact cum Filter feed tank in MS Epoxy construction of size 2.60 m x 2.15 m x 3.00 m , as per given specifications. With one set of chlorine dosing system comprising of solution tank and dosing pumps, as specified, with necessary connection for dosing of solution in chlorine contact tank.

Sludge Holding Tank in MS Epoxy, of size 2.00 m x 2.00 m x 2.0 m as per given specifications, to receive sludge from tube settler, complete with air Grid of Header and Lateral type made out of UPVC with flow rate 9.18M3/Hr as specified. (13) Two nos sludge transfer pump. filter feed centrifugal monobloc self priming pumps 3 phase 3.83 Cum/Hr 8m head 2HP complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings for feeding tertiary unit, Level sensor should be provided in the chlorine contact cum filter feed tank and interlinked with pumps for ON-OFF operation as per level in the sump. Sludge dewatering unit of Sludge bag unit type made out of SS with 04 Bag arrangement of non-woven geotextile fabric complete with 2 Nos of DWPE dosing pump of 0-10 LPH capacity with DWPE tank of 200 Ltr capacity as specified in PS. (15) Two nos filter feed centrifugal monobloc self priming pumps 3 phase 9.09 Cum/Hr 8m head 5HP capacity complete with motor and all necessary accessories and fittings for feeding tertiary unit, Level sensor should be provided in the chlorine contact cum filter feed tank and interlinked with pumps for ON-OFF operation as per level in the sump. Dual Media filter for removal of fine suspended solids from treated sewage of size 950mm dia with flow rate 9.09 M3/Hr, HOS-1600mm complete with filter media 300mm anthracite & 500 mm sand, under bed supporting media 500mm, frontal piping, made out of Mild Steel black bituminous paint inside, enamel paint outside, Shell 5mm, Dish end 6mm, valve and pressure gauges to measure pressure across the filter. (17) One no. Activated Carbon Filter of size 1000mm dia , with flow rate 9.09 M3/hrcomplete with media, HOS-1800mm, with filter media of granular activated carbon 900mm depth and 600mm under bed supporting media type , made out of Mild steel black bituminous paint inside, enamel paint outside , shell thickness (shell -5mm and Dish end 6mm) frontal piping,valve and pressure gauges to measure pressure across the filter. (18) One no. treated water collection tank of 10000 Ltr capacity made out of HDPE complete all as specified and directed. (19) Pressure gauges of Bourdon'stube type 50mm dia dia for each pump and blower , Level control swith floaty type for each set of feed pump, air rotameter of glass tube type for MBBR and EQT & SHT (02 for MBBR and 01 Each for EQT and SHT=08 Nos) complete all as specified and directed.

TAKING DOWN Taking up or down Steel Water Tubing 100/80mm dia (bore) including Connections and Fittings, Relaying/Re diverting re fixing GI pipe in New or Old Position (Serviceable Pipes and Fittings obtained from taking down item) after Cleaning both Inner and Outer Surfaces of Pipes by using of Wire Brush, (extra GI pipe if required will be provided by the Dept.) Excavation for same will be paid separately Complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation for same will be paid separately complete all as specified and as directed.
Taking out of LT UG cable of size not exc. 95.0 Sqmm of any core carefully including Connections and Relaying/Re diverting of cable in New or Old Position carefully as per procedure laid down in SSR part-I all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Excavation, sand, and bricks will be paid separately as per site requirement. (ii) Extra cable and jointing Kit if required will be provided by the Dept.

SCHEDULE "A" PART -XVI (MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION) (DURING DEFECTS LIABILITY PERIOD): Maintenance and operation of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 300 & 400 KLD and operation and comprehensive maintenance of SCADA, round the clock in three shifts (of 08 hrs duration each) per day including releiver for Sunday and holiday with one operator (Skilled operator) in each shifts and one supervisor in Gen shift (round the clock 0900-1700 hrs) for trouble free operation to ensure maximum optimisation of plant including monitoring the performance of the treated sewage by data logging, monthly report preparation and reporting to MES on performance of Sewage Treatment, maintenance of different types of pumps, blower etc. including periodic cleaning (fortnightly) , scheduled maintenance of running equipments, attending to the emergency break down of the components, regular testing of plant equipments by 'Walk Down' checks of internal conditions of equipments such as plant performance, pump test, decomposition system testing, etc. careful logging of Operational Data and periodically processing it to determine any abnormal or slowly deterioating conditions, careful control and supervision of operational conditions including all consumables and spare parts for maintenance of plant as directed by Engineer-in-Charge from the after completion of Phase - I & II.
