Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster, terrazo etc on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons, etc., laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar, complete all as specified & as directed.

Removing building materials etc. to a distance beyond 2.5 Km upto the dumping ground outside to defence land, beyond the lead included in the quoted rates of respective items as per SSR, including loading, unloading, stacking, etc complete all as specified & as directed. Note : The quantity ‘Per Load’ shall be calculated as per SSR Part-II.

Dismantling boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails, complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling of cast iron, wrought iron or mild steel work of any description and from any position not otherwise provided for in this Schedule (BOQ), complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable cooler stand of any size & any type fixed at cill level of windows at Ground Floor & First Floor of building on external face of wall and making good the disturbed portion in cement mortar 1:4 and/or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down steel railing of any description and in any position and making good the disturbed portion in cement mortar 1:4 and/or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Length of hand rail of railing shall be measured for the payment purpose of this item in RM.

Taking down old rusted & damaged steel windows/ventilators of any description and of any type & size with guard bars / grill / glass / iron mongery including cutting holes for lugs / hold fasts and making good disturbed portion in cement mortar 1:4 and/or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down shutters (including fittings & fixtures) of any description exc 1 Sqm and not exc. 2 Sqm each, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area not exc 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) and making good disturbed portion in cement mortar 1:4 and/or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area exc 1.5 Sqm but not exc 4 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) and making good disturbed portion in cement mortar 1:4 and/or PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anti termite treatment along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for anti termite treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for anti termite treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified & as directed.

Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, shelves and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Note :- The measurement for payment purpose shall be taken of flat area of front elevation and not girthwise. No other allowance for sides, folded portion, etc shall be admissible. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include this provision.

Supply & fixing in repairs steel rolling shutters, thickness of laths 1.25 mm, with ball bearings, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer, erected in position as indicated, complete, push pull or manual type, with safety lever locks mild steel with 4 levers, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Stainless steel (Grade 304) railing 850mm height of design, pattern and other details as shown in Sketch No. 01 attached at Annexure-III, including all verticals, intermediate horizontal railings at spacing shown in the Sketch, necessary brackets, welding, fixing arrangements, etc., fixed as per standard engineering practice and manufacturer’s recommendation, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Length of hand rail of railing shall be measured for the payment purpose of this item in RM.

Note : Tiles shall be dismantled carefully and stacked properly including segregating the serviceable & unserviceable tiles as directed. Serviceable tiles shall be reused under the respective item of this Schedule.

Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) and removing of demolished material to a distance exc 250 metre but not exc 500 metre upto the location as decided by GE, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 40mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring, leveling course over roof and similar works, top surface finished fair & even, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for cleaning of all loose dirt and dust from roof and priming the surface with one coat of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.40 litre/sqm and provide a layer of APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface complete all as described in Para 11.44.5 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps.

M&L for 40mm thick burnt clay brick tiles, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement, laid on roof over & including 15 mm thick cement mortar (1:6) bedding, complete all as specified & as directed.

All as per serial item No. 70.00 here-in-before but except brick tiles. Note : Old serviceable brick tiles retrieved from serial item No 66.00 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls in Sunken portion, mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified. Note : Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for removal of loose concrete and cleaning the surfaces and filling the cracks with Polymer modified mortar using Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP or other equivalent product as approved by GE and thereafter applying two coats of Dr Fixit Bathseal WPC or other equivalent product as approved by GE in Sunken areas complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions, specified & directed. Note : Where contractor desire to use equivalent product of Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP and Dr Fixit Bathseal WPC, he shall submit the technical literature of equivalent products to establish the equivalency of products to the entire satisfaction of GE and both products shall be of same manufacturer as approved by the GE.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 Type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in concave shape benching (gola) of 80mm radius at junctions of roof/terrace with parapets / side walls with surface finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for galvanized iron tubing medium grade of 50 mm bore (ISI marked) as in spout for sunken floors and similar works, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Free end of spout shall be cut at 45 degree angle. (ii) Length of spout shall be as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring, leveling course, etc, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for machine cut factory pre-polished Kota stone slab flooring 20 to 25mm thick laid over & including screed bed or bedding layer of 20mm thick in CM 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing where again required complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for machine cut factory pre-polished Kota stone slab 12 to 15mm thick on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc. laid over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing where again required complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick Granite (of any type) machine cut slab of approved shade (table rubbed and polished) with true & uniform joints as in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms & like and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over & including 20mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM 1:4 with cement slurry @ 3 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified & as directed.

Rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick, area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for vitrified ceramic tiles 10mm thick (square/rectangular), polished, coloured (light shade as approved), area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 16 sqmm 2 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable of any size complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L for sub class ‘B’ (old size) burnt clay bricks laid flat and dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc. 10mm for protection of underground electric cable in such a way that the length of brick is at right angle to the central axis of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete including taking down old unserviceable pipe of any size with clamps. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.
