SCHEDULE A BOQ
Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in any type of soil each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.
Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
Excavation in trenches exc 1.5m depth but not exc 3.0m in depth and n exc 1.5 mtr in wide and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.
M&L plain cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
S&F Mild Steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and as directed..
Removing of acumulated earth of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Note :- The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of following :- (a) Cutting of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth and measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked. (b) Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.
M&L Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.
M&L 50mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in Path including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.
Supply only Chain link mesh and made of galvanised wire and shall confirm to IS 2712:2003 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Weight of chain link fencing to be assesed by BOO order by the GE prior to execution.
Supply only 8mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar(stiches through chain link fencing between post) including preparation of new steel surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note :- Weight of coil with 50 Turns and 129 number clips shall not be less than 15.2 Kg.
S&F Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete surfaces withfirst coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing liquid as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing liquid shall be measured and paid seperately as supply only. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.
Supply Only water proofing liquid complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof or equivalent.
M&L Applying two coats of cement based paint on newly plastered surfaces of walls including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and as directed
S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 gradeSt.-240) complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F Pre painted Coloured corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws complete all as directed.
Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-
(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.
(ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.
(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.
(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for Writing letters or figures (Block Roman/Italic of Indian n exc 30 cm high with synthetic enamel paint all as directed.
M&L for Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete.
Note for item No 36 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.
(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.
(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.
(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)
(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.
(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m distance and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
Riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming. Note :- In case sufficient sand not obtained from excavation, the required additional qty obtain from out side land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the unit rate quoted is deemed to be included the above provision.
M&L Fly ash cable protection cover of any size complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L XLPE insulated,screened, PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium condutor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets, etc all as specified and directed. Supply, transporting to site, errecting and fixing in position, steel tubular swaged poles of 11 mtr long type 410 SP- 55 IS-2713 marked complete with CI/ MS base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washers and screws as specified, drilling of necessary holes including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surface and black bituminous paint on steel surface embeded in conrete externally and throughout internally and painting 03 nos of band /strips with fluorescent , PO box red synthetic enamel paint (30 cm wide each) at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block and number of poles all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Earth work excavation, PCC foundation, coping will be measured and paid separately. The rate for pole shall also be included painting to steel tubular pole (in side and out side).
M&L plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate type C2) including necessory form work for pole foundation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .
M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in pole coping complete as directed.
Supply and fix pole/ wall LED Flood Light luminaire of capacity 150 Watt,system lumen efficiency not less than 140 lumen per watt, total system lumens not less than 15000 lumens, PF>0.90 ,CRI not less than 70, THD not more than 10 %, surge protection not less than 4 KV, colour temp 5700 k to 6500k, operating voltage ranging from 150 V to 270 V at 50 Hz AC frequency, Pressure die cast aluminium housing in powder coated finish , heat resistant toughened glass, gasket etc, luminaire IP 66 Class of protection all as specified and directed. Make : Wipro cat pat No. LF-20-192-060-57-BS or Equivalent of Bajaj/ Philips.
Note for item No 52 :- (a) LED chip make shall be Nichia, Osram, Cree, Lumilid. (b) The contractor shall submit to Engr-in-Charge LM-80 and LM-79 report from the NABL approved lab of LED chip used and luminaire respectively. (c) The contractor shall submit warranty certificate from manufacturer for minimum 2 years. (d) The contractor shall also submit test report from the manufacture to comply with all requirements and specifications given in the contract.
Supply and fix cross arm using standard mild steel sections like angle iron / MS pipe / flat iron / nut bolt and washers etc using steel of Fe 410-W (Gde E-250) quality - A including necessary welding suitable to fixing of flood lights on pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.
Supply and fix IP 66 Pole Mounted street lighting Junction Box made of Polycarbonate, supplied with 1 No. 6A-32 Amp 10KA TPN MCB, 1 No. 63A 4P FR Polyamide color coded RYBN Terminals Block, 1 No. each of Earth & Neutral Terminal mounted on 35mm DIN channel and fitted inside Enclosure alongwith Pole Mounting bracket, pole clamp & hardware made of Stainless Steel 304. The Junction Box enclosure Cover should have 2 nos Polycarbonate Hinges with SS 304 Hinge pin, for Cover not to detach from Base on opening and should be properly tightened to base with Polycarbonate screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber. The Polycarbonate enclosure should have properties Flame Retardant UL94V0, UV, Glow Wire test 960 Deg C, Impact IK08, Halogen free & RoHS compliant, Glow Wire Test for 960⁰ C. Type test reports from NABL lab in India along with Polycarbonate manufacturer batch test certificate should be submitted. Make of junction box shall be as per make mentioned in list of makes in PS.

S&F Synchromising electronic timer unit operated on AC 230 Volts, 24 hrs clock time for controling street lights complete all as directed. Cat Part No : 412641 of Legrand or equivalent in L&T, ABB.
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in ISG Global/ ERICO.
The unit quoted rate shall deem to be included for the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less than 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.
(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.
(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.
(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip will be measured and paid separately).
(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.
(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.
(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.
(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.
(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.
(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.
(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.
(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .
(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.
(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.
(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.
(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.
(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.
Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc all as directed. Note : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.
S&F epoxy base insulators of suitable size 40mm height for fixing copper earth strip on wall/ ceiling/ floor/poles etc complete all as specified and as directed.
