Development, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of 3 phase AC–AC Transmission System including Driver Cab Equipment For 1800 HP Cape Gauge DEMUs

Traction Alternator to be directly coupled to diesel engine and 3 phase full bridge rectifier.

Base Rail arrangement mounting brackets & bolts for mounting alternator

IGBT based traction converter system including power rectifier, DC link and associated controls (Hardware and software) with independent motor control and isolation capability. The software for converter control system shall be compatible with that of Vehicle Control System

Microprocessor based Vehicle Control System (Hardware and software) along with all control, protection and indication equipment required for proper functioning of the DEMU. This shall be compatible with other equipment on DEMU such as diesel engine, traction alternator, traction converter, etc.

Solid state Auxiliary Power Control (APC) for supplying auxiliary power for battery charging, controls, light, fan, electric driven compressor, ventilation fan, driver cab& guard room AC in DPC and DTC, rectifier blower motor (if required) (please refer Clause- 9.0) and any other Auxiliary Loads mutually agreed upon - Blowers for Traction Motor Cooling. The APC shall draw power from Traction Alternator.

Control panel consists of MCBs, Relays, Contactors, Switches, TB's, wiring required for functioning of propulsion system in DPC

Control panel consists of Vehcle control system, MCBs, Relays, Contactors, Switches, TB's, wiring required for functioning of propulsion system in DTC.

Speed Indicating cum Recording Unit for Driver in DPC and DTC. Speed Indicating Unit. For guard in DPC and DTC

Dynamic Brake with self loading facility including Grid resistors and Blowers.

PC/Laptop based software tool for downloading the fault data packs, viewing and changing the user settable parameters along with user license.

Inter Vehicle Couplers along with end wall terminal panels for power, control data communication with cable assembly. Inter Vehicle couplers required for DPC & TCs of one basic unit (1 DPC + 4TC+1 DTC) are in the scope of tenderer. Inter Vehicle Coupler shall be user-friendly and generally confirm to ICF Spec. No. ICF/Elec/133 latest revision. Suitable provision of couplers to make 12 car formation using two rakes of 6 cars each.

All Power cables, control cables and special cables like Optic Fiber cables for one basic unit (1 DPC + 4TC+1 DTC)

Junction boxes, ducts and filters for APC, TC and TM

GPS based PAS/PIS system with LCD monitor for one basic unit (1 DPC + 4TC+1 DTC) (See details given in clause-2.3)

Fuel oil level sensor

Remote Monitoring System with GPS and GSM Communication for DEMU Tracking with User license

a) Driver Desk including all accessories and Air Brake Controls. b) Guard control panel for guard operations and Air Brake controls, Parking / Hand Brake control etc. c) Master controller which supports Motoring and dynamic breaking facility.

Stand alone Vigilance controller Device with foot operated switch

Traction Alternator to be directly coupled to diesel engine and 3 phase full bridge rectifier (As maintenance spare)

Installation and commissioning charges at MCF - Installation commissioning of all the above items with testing at MCF. Installation includes integration with free supply items by MCF / RITES i.e. Engine Complete, Batteries, Forced cooled Traction Motors and blowers.

Technical Support in Mozambique - Installation commissioning of all the above items with testing and field trials in Mozambique.

Comprehensive Onsite warranty for two years after commissioning at Mozambique.

Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for a period of 3 years beyond warranty period in Mozambique.
