Roof Waterproofing

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within the campus as directed by Engineer in Charge. For thickness of tiles above 25 mm and up to 40 mm

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying:

(a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/ sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. (b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm. (c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around. (d) fourth and final layer of brick tiling with cement mortar (which will be paid for separately. For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured.

Expansion Joints Treatment with Sikadur Combiflex System

Step-1. Removal of extra topping between the expansion joint area: Preparation of Expansion Joint edge by grinding and removal of all loose particles, dirt, dust etc to make the surface clean including scaffolding , tools tackles etc all complete Step-2. Providing and Mixing of epoxy adhesive sikadur 31 C (2:1) by mechanical mixture and apply on the 50 mm surface of both sides as per the manufacturer specification including tools, labour, machines etc all complete Step-3. Providing and Fixing of Hypalon based Sikadur Combiflex SG strip (200 mm width x 2mm thickness on the expansion joint as per the manufacturer specification including tools, labour, machines scaffoldings etc all complete Step-4. Finally Providing and Mixing of epoxy adhesive sikadur 31 C (2:1) by mechanical mixture and apply on the 50 mm surface of both sides as per the manufacturer specification including tools, labour, machines etc all complete as a protective coating

Providing and fixing sheet covering over expansion joints with stainless steel screws as per design to match colour/shade of wall treatment -Aluminium fluted strips 200mm wide 2.00 mm thick.

Providing gola 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand as per standard design :

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level.

Applying priming coat: With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture

Painting (two or more coats) on rain water, soil waste and vent pipes and fittings with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture over a priming coat of ready mixed zinc chromate yellow primer on new work : 100 mm diameter pipes

Providing, Laying, testing and Commissioning of B Class (medium) pipe in surface confirming to IS 3589 AND 1239 includding cutting., welding with fitting like elbows, reducer, hanger, tees, flanges, tapers, nuts bolts, gasket etc., fixing the pipeon the wall/ceiling with suitable clamps and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after primer coat of required shade, cutting hole and chase in brickwall/RCC Slab and making goodthe same Etc complete as required.
