Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 mts. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.(a). Depth of excavation not exceeding 1500 mm.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work). I. With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Laying 150 mm. to 200 mm. boulder soling including rough dressing, hand packing and ramming down small pieces in the interstices including rolling and preparing the bed to proper level and filling up all joints with sandy clay or earth. (Without rolling but including ramming).

Cost of stone boulder (150 to 200) mm. North Bengal Variety.

Plum Concrete work with 40 % cement concrete with 30 mm. down graded stone metal and 60% stone boulder of size 150 mm. and above, placed in position as directed excluding shuttering if any.[Rate provided is exclusive of the cost of stone boulders and sausage crate] (a). 1:3:6 proportion.

Hire and labour charge for shuttering with centreing and necessary staging upto 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams,columns, lintels curved or staight including fitting fixing and striking out after complection of works. (upto roof of ground floor).(a) 25 mm. to 30 mm. thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. .
