OVERHAULING OF 250KVA DG SET

1. Mangalore Coastal Installation (MCI) is a Petroleum Oil and Lubes (POL) Installation owned by BPCL which is situated at Mangalore city to cater to the MS and HSD demands of Mangalore market. It caters to different sales areas of Mangalore Retail Territory, Gulbarga Territory, Calicut territory, Rescue loads to Belgaum Territory and I&C. It is spread across 69 acres of land. 2. BPCL MCI have now 2 DG sets available, one 320KVA and other 400KVA. In this, 320KVA DG is more than 15year old and must be scrapped, as per CPCB regulation. For replacing this 320 KVA DG set, one of the spare 250KVA DG, which was not in use at BPCL Piyala Installation have shifted to Mangalore Coastal Installation. 3. Due to non-usage of 250KVA DG at Piyala installation for some years, water ingress was found inside the engine by OEM (Authorized dealer for Cumins India Ltd) pre commissioning inspection. As per OEM recommendation, equipment needs full service and some of the spares must replace for the smooth functioning. Through this tender, we intend to Service and repair of the 250 KVA DG set, shifted from Piyala Installation. Bidder is invited to BID for the same. ok
